Wow! They're lining up quite the cast here!

Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons have already joined the cast of The Host, the Andrew Niccol-directed adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel, and now, it's being reported that Academy Award-winning William Hurt is in talks to take the role of Jeb, the eccentric uncle to the female lead and leader of human survivalists fighting an alien invasion!

Inneresting!

We'll be curious to see if this one will attract the Twilight crowd!

What do U think??

I doubt it this book doesnt have that much romance in it tweens cant process something like that

It's a much better book. Still not brilliantly written but it's very interesting and doesn't follow the expected path. But the end is a bit twisted.

Well she need to sign up Pattinson/Stewart and use their fake dating to sell this because an old wife beater will not be able to make a hit out of the Host.

Isn't Melanie supposed to be in her 20s? And Saoirse Ronan is what 17? I dunno how I feel about that…

I met William Hurt a few years ago in Toronto, when he was working on the Incredible Hulk film. A very lovely man. Extremely intelligent. People who worked on the film really admired him. Certainly one of the best actors of his generation.

And Saoirse Ronan is easlily the best actress of her generation, Hurt is a great addition.
