Woohoo!! This calls for a celebration!!

Katy Perry's The One That Got Away is her sixth single off Teenage Dream to make it to the Top Five and we have our fingers crossed it will be her sixth to make it to number one!

But of course, this is a huge accomplishment already! Only two other albums have actually had SIX singles in the top five in all of Billboard history!

You go, gurl! Werk!

This is not that big of a deal Perez. To keep comparing her to MJ is ridiculous. You can't compare one era to another like this and say it is an equal accomplishment. This counts downloads and itunes purchases. It is so simple for someone to just go purchase a song on itunes and have it for them, back when MJ did this people would have to go to the store and physically buy his single spending more than the 99 cents. And to say that Katy Perry is at the same musical level is ludicrous.

Hard to imagine. She'll be viewed as a Legend if she she get's her 6th number one.
I hope it doesn't happen because it's difficult putting her in the same league as Micheal Jackson.

Quite honestly if Rihanna can spend seven weeks at number one with a mediocre, generic song like "We Found Love" and if Katy Perry has the very real possibility of surpassing Michael Jackson then it says more about the bad state of music in the charts than it does about the success of Rihanna or Katy Perry.

Re: Samilla – EXACTLY..to buy music in that time you had to get up, get dressed, leave the house, find your way to the record store and buy the record. That alone says a lot about Michael Jackson and his Thriller record…..IF people had to go and get up off their ass to buy a Katy Perry record she'd be fucked. To compare Katy to Michael in any way shape or form is OFFENSIVE. I've seen Katy Perry perform on tv..WOODEN she can't move or dance, sing in tune..embarrassing…like him or not Michael Jackson was the greatest entertainer in the world…although Michael would say it was James Brown..lol…………..THE WORLD HAS GONE TO SHIT
