Anton Yelchin Helps The Smurfs Make History!

Just so you know, this totally makes sense. He was the voice of Clumsy Smurf in the movie. LOL!

Yesterday, a very special ceremony was held at Grauman's Chinese Theater as The Smurfs were asked to leave their hand and footprints in the iconic courtyard.

Accompanied by Anton Yelchin, Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf and Smurfette all received the honor of leaving their mark amongst other Hollywood icons.

Wonder if this is going to upset as many people as the Twilight kids did a few months ago? Anyone feel the need to riot about this latest addition?

Check out the gallery (below) for more pics from the scene.

I was raised on Disney and Looney Toons cartoons and others right up to Gerald McBoing Boing, then Rockey and Bullwinkle were on early T.V., along with Mickey Mouse Club, with Cubby, Annette, Jimmy (we always thot he was a pedo, perez) etc. I used to trade comic books with my friends. I wonder how many classics we wore out? ha.
I never got into the Smurfs, myself. Didn't they originate in Europe?
