Argh! Even Movie Studio Employees Pirate!

| Filed under: Tech TalkBusiness Blitz

computer piracy

Well aint that some sh*t!

Looks like the people fighting piracy are doing it themselves! Well, by representation anyways…

Employees from major movie, tv, and music studios have been caught illegally downloading the tv series, new albums, unreleased movies, etc!

For example, an employee at NBC Universal was caught with the entire first season of Game of Thrones. And a Fox employee had Super 8!

What do U think about this, perezcious readers??

There is theft going around no matter where you work. Someone recently was left go for stealing toilet paper and paper hand towels from the bathroom. They were taking them home in their lunch box. Another incident was stealing fresh fruit and vegetables for thier lunches from the produce department. Loose a job over that is just plain stupid.

If Studios don't keep their movies under lock & key it's their own fault; are aliens criminals for intercepting Earth movie signals light-years away?

Digital file sharing is here to stay.

Assistants receive movies on DVD while they are still in theatres all the time, as they are being considered for awards and directors/producers don't have time to "go out" to catch the movie in the theatres so the movies are sent on DVD to them. This is usually how the movies are posted to bit torrent. Many times there will be a "watermark" on the film every 20 minutes or so, announcing that it's for "Oscar consideration" or something. I say LET THEM

so how do they know the difference between illegally downloaded and digital file?

they rake in BILLIONS of dollars, between the producers, actors….etc. They do NOT work 100 times harder or longer than I do, so why should they be paid 100 times more? PIRATES RULE!!!!

Well personally, I do not see anything wrong with watching a movie or tv show etc etc for free. If you want me to pay to watch a movie then I suggest you lower the price! I do not go to the movie theatre because I refuse to pay twelve bux for a movie when I can watch it at home for free! I, as well as most Americans are on a strict budget and the more you raise the price for entertainment the more the American people are gonna find a way to enjoy it for free!
