simon cowell talks howard stern drama

Yep. The drama has already begun, and Howard JUST got the gig YESTERDAY!

On Thursday, Howard Stern officially joined America's Got Talent as a judge…and NOW the Parents Television Council (PTC) is already attacking him. Boo!

Sure, Howard's controversial, but even Simon Cowell says that everything will be all right!:

"If he goes too far, he'll be kicked off."

"He's not stupid, this guy."

We wholeheartedly agree, and we have a feeling that Howard will behave himself quite well on the show!

What do U think? Will Howard Stern be a good boy on AGT???

I love HS and think he will have an undeniable presence on the show. However, what does he know about talent? Howie Mandell was an actor and now a comediene, Sharon O was a producer and manager of bands. Howard has been in the radio industry but has never been an actor or a musician, except for the one time he starred in his autobio movie. He has good instincts though, so manybe he will do well. I think Gene Simmons would have been a good choice.

Re: Cha_Cha_the famous – Cha Cha he also produced TV shows and had his own Variety show that used to go up against and BEAT Saturday Night Live in the New York market(it was the only market the show was in at the time). He has produced several HIGHLY sucessful Pay Per View TV events as well. Not to mention he is largely responsible for the Osbourne's even being on TV in the first place. I can pin point a few TV game shows and TV hosts which regularly steal his material. I have to seriously laugh at your Gene Simmons recommendation. If you want to talk about a seriously self promoting fool, he is your man.
HS must know something to get millions of people to actually Pay to listent to him. He has more listeners on a daily basis than Leno, Letterman or Oprah had watching their "free" TV shows.

Howard has gotten older and more settled. He won't do anything to make himself look bad. Howard doesn't have the guts anymore to be outrageous. He will play it straight.

Re: stefystef – "He won't do anything to make himself look bad." he can't help himself, just BEING howie stern makes him look bad. a low class talentless tool. i quit finding him and his humor funny when i passed puberty. i suppose for the 12-18 crowd he's OK but anyone even 1/2 way mature he is a bore.

re: parents television council…if they don't like something just turn it off, but don't turn if off for me…fuck them…i am tired of these fucktards trying to control my life…i hope they all go to hell…

Re: raypearson – just admit you never listened to him and you heard a 30 second clip. we all know the radio reception from your mommies basement isn't too clear.

Re: TheRealJerseyShore – you know you people who "know" something about me, are really funny. for instance i have not lived in 'mommys" basement for 45 years. yes i used to waste my time listening to this loser, and giggled like you still do over his juvenile "humor". but then, unlike you, i matured and got a life and a REAL woman. you might try it sometime. give that plastic blow-up a rest and try it with flesh.

Re: raypearson – Sure you do!! Glad it only took you 45 years. You wouldn't know a real woman if she fell into lap!

Re: Cha_Cha_the famous – I wish you had been on the selection committee. Gene Simmons would have been an excellent choice. He can act silly when he has too, but he also knows when and how to behave properly.

Re: Cha_Cha_the famous – Nick Simmons might be a better choice. He's musical, and probably has a younger ear more in tune with what's happening and what kids might go for. Gene could market almost anything, though.
