North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Il Is Dead

kim-jong-il-dead.jpg

It's the end of a political era - and the dawn of some serious uncertainty.

Kim Jong Il, the dictator of North Korea, had a heart attack on Saturday and died. According to media from North Korea, Kim was traveling by train when he fell ill and sadly, there was nothing to be done for him.

The death of Kim Jong leaves the country in the hands of his third son, Kim Jong Eun, but this leaves some of the progress made by his father in a dangerous position, especially the country's relations with the U.S. and South Korea. This young man is only in his late 20s and hasn't had that much time to develop a power base. Still, the responsibility is on him now and he must do with it as he sees fit.

Let's hope for the best.

Very smart leader; kept his people from the sickness & evil of the rest of the world….

  2. 2

Seriously, Perez? Stay out of politics, your ignorance just continues to shine.

  3. 3

    Finally

  4. 4

It's Kim Jong-Un. The Eun was a misspelling when it was translated to Japanese. The proper spelling is Un. Don't you read news sources?

  5. 5

He was responsible for killing 270K citizens in concentration camps, North K still has concentration camps. Sad that people still aren't knowledgeable of these things. I hope his son has different views too, but what I read was that he's a lunatic too

  6. 6

SADLY?!!! DID YOU FUCKING SAY SADLY?!!! This fucking brutal asshole of a dictator has brainwashed his people into believing he is a God on earth. He murders people for fun and imprisons them for no reason. I danced a jig of glee when I heard this waste of human flesh croaked. What astonishes me is you say SADLY nothing could be done. Are you fucking joking you stupid moron!!!!

  7. 7

Good riddance. Another worthless bag of flesh gone from this earth. It's just a shame his son will be the one taking over…

  8. 8

"sadly, there was nothing to be done for him." Are you fucking kidding? This lunatic made a habit of kidnapping, torturing, and murdering his citizens. He lived extravagantly (in NK standards) and built weapons of mass destruction while his people starved.
Also @my cheating husband is missing: smart leader???? I suppose he did invent the hamburger….idiot.

The world is a better off place without this sociopath. It's a shame that the citizens of North Korea are too brainwashed to revolutionize their society.

What is the problem with the people coming on this website ? Every article as at least one comment of people hating on Perez… I mean, if you hate the guy and his website, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ? You keep on reading the aticles and then, you waste some time in your life just to post a comment saying how stupid you think Mario is. You all need to get a life!

  10. 10

I love you PEREZ, but you cannot say sadly. This man was EVIL.

  11. 11

    Sadly? Really Perez? REALLY!?!?!?!?!

  12. 12

I've never celebrated the death of another person, vile as they may be; but I have to say that I certainly won't lose any sleep over this one. I'm pretty sure he's not 'resting in peace' either … we all have to pay a price eventually for the things that we do.

Re: kat023 – Agree with you, Kat. The reason people do this is just basic psychology: when you feel anger or insecurity, etc. in your own private life, it momentarily makes you feel better by feeling "powerful" and "in control" when you can vent some of those negative emotions. Since none of us can really spew on our family members, friends, boss, co-workers without repercussions, it's safe to release those feelings anonymously on a stranger (in this case, Perez). It's just misdirected anger, that's all. The thing is, these people only momentarily feel better; but then have to slip back into their unhappy lives. It's sad, actually. Watch - some of these same people will bark at me because I've hit a reality nerve with them and they won't like it.

  14. 14

Good riddance. He was a evil man.

  15. 15

Re: Meggie246524 – Or maybe they just think it's funny. Maybe you should have sold back your Intro to Psychology book. (see that was funny too!) Lighten up and try not to over analyze things.

  16. 16

Re: Meggie246524 – You hit the nail on the head eccept for 1 thing. You have described Perez , not us. And you are spot on about his insecurity causing him to be so vile.

  17. 17

Re: My Cheating Husband is Missing – Well, then move to China or Burma if you like that form of government so much!

  18. 18

Re: smithygirl – You just did exactly what she said would happen. Well done Meggie :)

  19. 19

I just cannot believe it. The world is down one terrible man. :D

  20. 20

Perez, I understand that you have turned over a new leaf and are trying to stay eternally positive after all of the bullying and violence happening in our society. But it was completely wrong and ignorant of you to say "sadly, nothing could be done for him." I think trying to always stay positive has turned on your blinders to all the truly horrible things that happen in the world that you just can't put a positive spin on. Kim Jong-Il was a despicable man who has relished in his wealth and power while the majority of his people starve. The world is much better off without him, and so I think it was totally inappropriate of you to say that his death was sad. In my eyes that's the equivalent of saying that you're upset Gaddafhi or Saddam Hussein are dead.

Also, I also think it was uninformed of you to say that it's up to Kim Jong-un, his son, can do with his power what he see fit. We don't even know yet if North Korea's military is going to support this transition, so the statement that the son has the power to do what he feels is best is presumptuous and uninformed.

In the future I think you should either get your facts straight or just not comment on international politics.

Re: Moogle80 – Bark, Bark lol (see that is funny too!) Don't think so hard, life is fun!

  22. 22

RIP Kim Jong Il, you crazy bastard. Re: Meggie246524 – When someone issues a challenge to 'prove' their ability to be correct, it is a sign of self grandiosity, egoism, narcissism, and a sure sign of a superiority complex! See, I didn't sell my Intro to Psyc book back either! lol. Once again, lighten up and have fun, life is good!

  28. 28

Re: smithygirl – So true, people tend to take themselves too seriously!

  29. 29

DAMN, HIS SON KIM JONG-UN IS ANOTHER FAT PYGMY LIKE HIS DAD. LOOKS MORE LIKE HIS GRAND DAD THE PREVIOUS DICTATOR PRIOR TO 1996. DICTATORS RUN IN THE FAMILY.. SMH.

Re: Meggie246524 – I for one am trying to change. Just like the "old" Perez, I have really dished the dirt with all the nasty stuff thrown in right back in Perez face, trying to be funny at the same time. Just like P., I don't like "vanilla" either. There are multiple reasons to criticize this site beginning with the lack of editing, the obvious rumor-mongering attributed to "close sources", the opinion focused questions combined with "closed" comments; it goes on and on, and that's not the personal stuff. I can even be bothered by the inane question, "If you don't like Perez….." at times. Perez will never change completely because he has arrested development. We can all be hypocrites. It's the self-serving that gets to me. I am trying to tone it down but not because of his fan support, but out of boredom. Imitation vanilla flavoring.

Re: Meggie246524 – You think you're the Mother Teresa of this when in actuality you're just some hopeless Polyanna who drops a few 3 or 4 syllable $2 words from your college psych books trying to convince everyone you're superior. And then adding that last line about "anyone answering….hit a nerve" is an especially nice touch, I'm sure you really felt you won, lmao. That's always the sign of a first class, insecure douche. I bet you're a cutter.

  34. 34

    "Progress made by his father…"
    .
    "Progress"?
    .
Mario, have you had a lobotomy?
    .
    Glad he's dead.
    .
    Hope he's burning in Hell.

  35. 35

Re: Gilbert Bumpucker – Fair enough - well said.

  36. 36

Oh look! A turd in a jumpsuit! Burn in hell you freak!

  37. 37

Re: Lady Who? – Actually I've never taken a psych course, but that's aside from the point. Kat asked a question and I answered it. If my multi-syllabic response was too verbose for you, then that's unfortunate, however that was my response to her question. We all have our opinions & you're certainly free to express yours and I'm free to express mine. As for the Mother Teresa complex … that's an incorrect analogy, as there is no religious over or undertone in this article or on this thread. But I think I know you what you were trying to do and that was to imply that I'm smug and/or altruistic. Smug? No, confident in some areas of my life, yes. Altruistic? No, try to be understanding of others & why they say or do things that I wouldn't, yes. Have to go to work now & won't be back on this thread, so have a great day :-)

  38. 38

so, I can talk shit about the korean dictator but i cant talk shit about ScarJo's dress? what's up with this comments OFF policy now?!?! LAME.

  39. 39

    'Sadly'?!

  40. 40

Kim Jong Un may be ceremoniously taking power, but it will be Kim Jong Il's brother-in-law who will actually be running everything. Kim Jong Un has zero experience, despite holding a high military position (nepotism), and has no clue how to run a country. Not that Kim Jong Il knew how to run a country…
The humanitarian situation in North Korea is completely out of control and they cannot survive without outside help. Blocking their people off from the outside world has clearly not worked. Their people (outside of the elite in Pyongyang) are still starving to death with the huge amount of aid they're being given by China and South Korea. North Koreans have been brainwashed to worship the leaders that are killing them. The stories coming from those who have fled are terrifying. Something needs to be done.

  41. 41

Sadly??? Wauw… you have no clue what any of this is about do you?
    Not even gonna go there…

  42. 42

GOOD! Now enter the next crazy bastard! Same old.

  43. 43

The ironic moment where the word "dictator" is in the title and the phrase "sadly, there was nothing to be done for him" is in the write-up. Perez, you're a fucking idiot. Refrain from writing about dictators because obviously you aren't aware of how much despair this guy caused.

  44. 44

I was going to comment on the "sadly" part but it seems that all the smart people here got that covered. Looks like Perez is too busy bullying the rest about his gay 'ole cause to actually know what goes on outside of the closet.

  45. 45

I truly believe the world is better off without that freak…

  46. 46

Well, maybe if most of the decent doctors were in South Korea or other places, he might have lived a bit longer, who knows.

  47. byrne says – reply to this

    47

Do you think that the people who have been sent to the North Korean work camps are sad that he fell ill and died? Do you think this man deserves any mercy for his manipulative tactics and the fear he has instilled in an entire people?? I don't believe in rejoicing a death, but at the same time I'm not sad at all that Kim Jong Il is dead, and I'm pretty sure his political prisoners aren't either. And also, did he really make any sort of progress in regards to US and South Korean relations? I'm pretty sure all he has done is play a games with both governments to try and get aid as well as hiding behind the protection of the Chinese. And let's not forget the arms testing and South Korean ships that have been fired upon. Let's hope his son has a soul.

Don't comment on things you don't understan Perez…

  48. 48

Since you didn't quote anything I'll take it you made the "sadly" assertion. No, not sadly, you fool. He should have been publicly executed for crimes against his own people. "Sadly". You douche.

  49. 49

    Rest
    In
    Hell

Re: My Cheating Husband is Missing – REALLY???HOW????BY STARVING THEM TO DEATH???ALL THE WHILE DRINKING 700 dollar bottles of Hennessey to the tune of 300 thousand a year, and having lobsters flown in to him fresh where ever he was?? He died young because he ate and drank like a rap star…His only virtue was that he was incredibly informed about world politics…that still didn't stop him from tormenting those in his country and his neighbors.

  51. 51

    Hmm..
