The Many Colors Of India

Day 4 of our adventures in India!

We could not be any happier with our trip! And we are still here for another 10 days!!!!

If you have never been to India before, we can't recommend enough paying a visit to this magical and majestic country!

So colorful! In every sense of the word!

And the people are so peaceful and warm!

Today we went on a so-called "village safari", paying visit to many small towns near Jodhpur.

We met with and learned about local craftspeople, like pottery makers and weavers, many of whom work with their whole families. So much time, effort and pride goes into what they do!

We also were shocked and saddened by our visit to a Bishnoi tribe. Though opium is technically illegal in India, it is still so common in this community. It is considered an act of courtesy to offer your guests opium, which we were - and we declined. Then, as if a show pony, this tribesman proceeded to distill opium in a liquid form and then drink it.

Such is the reality of life. It isn't always ideal!

We walked around the larger village of Rohet and even had lunch in the (very nice) local chieftain's house.

Now, we have booked massages for Momma Perez and ourselves and we are off to relax, followed by more eating our face off later.

The food in India is EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING!

Do you and Mommy share a bed too? A 30-something on a 2 week vacation with Momma is just sad and pathetic. You might as well just write loser on your forehead. She probably still breastfeeds you. Hope you're noticing all the stories with no comments, bet Momma is proud how fast your site died.

Perez, I'm really enjoying these pictures from your trip to India! Thanks for sharing them. It was really great that you brought your mother with you. This is something she will never forget.

Re: Lady Who? – Lady Who?'s obsession with Perez Hilton is getting stronger and stronger. Just look at their profile page. So desperate for his attention.

    Pakistan is right next door.
    .
You should go and enlighten them with your Gay Nazi agenda.

i would of been all over that opium.

looks like an amazing trip! I know Perez doesn't read these, but can I say that as a mother of four boys, I hope at least one of them treats me as awesome as Perez is to his mom! What a great guy!

  7. 7

When is Perez going to stick one of those RED DOTS between his eyes?

Mario, do have any comprehension of how many people DON'T care. Only an insensitive, ego-manical ass would parade around the poorest country in the world thinking these people know who you are or give a damn. You just don't get it, do you. Instead of blogging…why don't you help the improvrished by doing something meaningful. you TWIT!!!!

you sound like an entitled american, you are going there giving them lip service but i am sure you will go back to your hollywood lifestyle and not give two shits about the rael people of india.

Re: Lady Who? – Or may be he's simply a nice guy, taking care and spending quality time with his mom while he still has the chance to do it ? If you have such a strong and negative opinon on his trip with his mom, why are you reading the article and taking time to write a commend ? You should go spend some time with your own family instead.

To "Lady WHo?" it is a hispanic thing to be close to your family-not something that is "pathetic" as you say to be traveling with your family. He does it out of love silly girl,I guess you are not close to your family?BTW Perez,to say that Cuba must look like India is so wrong and I am surprised you say that! India is extremely crowded and their sanitary conditions are totally different than Cuba's and ours. All I have ever heard of India(from people that have been there) is how dirty it is(they pee and drink from the same rivers!). All I ever here about Cuba is how old the buildings, cars are-but that it's beautiful, they are educated, etc. Very different from India!

Yes, nothing like going to one of the poorest countries in the world, flaunting your wealth around the poor villages and then returning to your RESORT to feed your face. Talk about making a bad name for Americans overseas… you are probably the worst person they could meet. And do you tell every one of them that you are gay? Or do you take your mom as "cover"?

  13. 13

Oh Perez, lots of shots of buildings and you! Aren't there any people there that you would want to draw hearts on? I am glad for you and a little worried when I see how you and your Mom place your hands on each other. Are you going to "Bollywood"(whatever that is?)where the pretty people are, or is this a "street" tour? In a land where so many different gods are worshiped, the contrast shows in your photos. I can't imagine going to the mall and having to wait behind some Holstein for my curried goat taco.

Re: kat023 – Really? I don't know….if I took a picture of my mother sleeping and posted it to the World Wide Web, I don't think my mother would be feeling the love. Again, inconsiderate ass who doesn't think of anyone but himself.

  15. 15

    Dear Perez,
Make sure you eat some 'Malai Kofta' While you're there. And if your guide can take you to a reputable street cart, have some 'Papardi Chaat' too! Sooo yummy!!
You and your mom will LOOOOOVE it!

    Have fun lovie!!!

You only have one Mother, enjoy her and good for you and your fabulous annual trips!! BTW-What tour company do you use?

  18. 18

i think its great that you're close with your mom and you guys spend so much time together. don't listen to any of the idiots who say otherwise! also, loving the pictures! i really believe you've changed and are trying to be a better person. don't let anyone get you down! keep doing what you're doing and be yourself!

To all the ass-lickers who praise his obsession with his mommy: It isn't normal. We all know the reason why he takes her everywhere is because no one else can stand from his self-absorption and she only does it because he funds her existence. I know plenty of 30-something hispanic males who don't go everywhere with their mothers. Mario's relationship with his mommy is way too close to pass as normal or healthy.
    .
Re: Lady Who? – Right on. Don't listen to the few Perez "fans" who so obviously share his freak tendencies. Mario is sad and pathetic, and really should write "loser" on his forehead.

This looks crazy amazing! I hope my kids take me amazing places someday! I don't 100% love Perez and I def don't 100% agree with EVERYTHING he says/his opinions but if I hated him or it really bothered me that much I would not come to this site. When I started reading (some time ago) he was very boisterous. He disliked some people that I absolutely adored but I read his site because it was kinda refreshing to hear someones opinion on a person we both don't really know. Now it's a little boring because of the anti bully thing, he can't be too mean and the comments are def more annoying with people who hate him and say he's going to burn in hell or he has an agenda… but I just don't see what those people are doing here. To disagree is one thing but to completely hate someone but have a username and visit the site over and over. Wow. I'm glad I don't have all that free time to dedicate to someone I can't stand.

Re: La Garse – I think she raised him as a one parent family. You don't get to define what 'normal' is. He's a grateful son. Good on him. The perverse comments aimed at them says a lot more about the commenters than about Perez and his mom travelling as family.

  22. 22

Granted, I'd love to be able to take my mother somewhere amazing someday (she's never been out of the country) but it's odd that you don't ever take ANY of your friends with you. Oh wait, you've driven them all away. Or maybe you didn't have any to begin with.

Enjoy! Rajasthan is probably my favourite place on earth!
