Well, we have to give them an A for effort!
They are really fighting to keep this website going!
MySpace has officially debuted its first major product offering under the new owners, Specific Media, which is a music player with "enhanced" recommendations," a built-in search engine, and Facebook integration!
According to chief operating officer Chris Vanderhook:
"This is a natural partnership. Because of the users they have and the integrations with Spotify, Mog and Rdio it makes sense to open up our catalog to their users. Music is white-hot right now and we want to be able to capitalize on our music catalog and our history in music. It's something the previous management didn't really highlight."
Smart! Especially with the over 30 million independent artists that still use the site!
But will it be enough to revive the weathered shell that is left from years past?
What do U think??
