Hey Community Fans In NYC! Join The Flash Mob Protest At 30 Rock Today!

We couldn't be more thrilled with this development!
Here's hoping it will be enough for those foolish execs to realize what a terrible error in judgment they made!
Many like us were devastated when NBC announced that the HIGHlarious Community would be shelved this spring, while garbage like Whitney still manages to remain on the air, and in response, a group of the comedy's fans plan to flash mob in protest at 30 Rockefeller Center TODAY!
According to the Facebook event page, fans are encouraged to sing Christmas carols, bring pictures of Christmas trees, and wear black goatees made of felt or construction paper!
Organizer Catherine Boyd explains:
“It really hit a chord with me, it struck me as being very unfair that 25,000 Nielsen boxes could keep or kill this beautiful show. That is very upsetting. I’m not all that funny and I’m kind of a nerd. So I came up with what I thought was something that’s surreal, that everyone in New York could join in and sing a Christmas song for just two minutes.”
Sounds perfect! We wish we could be there to show our support!
SAVE COMMUNITY, everyone!
There's only so much intelligent comedy on television, we can't afford to lose one of the best!

boy i'll bet at least 10 or 20 people give a shit and will show up, and they will be on their way to the unemployment office to pick up their check
Once Community tried to push mooslum propaganda on us, I changed the channel and never watched it again. WTF? So sick of the mooslum propaganda creeping into all facets of our life. People who honor a murdering, raping, lying, thieving, illiterate, sadistic, child fing schizophrenic, ipso facto, must be insane themselves. Don't want mooslums in my sitcoms. Don't want them in my country.
I also think Flash Mobs should be illegal. If I were in a public place and such a commotion broke out, it would be disorienting and scary. Don't like them. In today's world, no one should be allowed to co-op a public place with any kind of impromptu disruption.
I tried to watch this show once or twice and I didn't find it particularly clever or funny at all. It just seemed to drag on. I kind of feel the same way about Modern Family to a lesser extent. It's like you can feel them trying so hard to be The Office, and failing. But hey, maybe it's just me.
