If you're not in New York for the next three weeks, you might not be seeing a lot of Darren Criss' beautiful face. As he's making his Broadway debut in How To Succeed in Business…, he'll be MIA for sometime at McKinley High.
Yes, Blaine will not be in the building for a few episodes of Glee. Excuse us while we go breathe into a paper bag to calm ourselves.
Okay, we've back. Where were we? Ah, yes. The absence of Criss in our lives.
It turns out, according to Darren, we won't be without him for very long. As Darren only has off from production for three weeks, he'll only miss shooting "one or two episodes" and Darren insists that it so much is going on in coming episodes, we "won't even notice" he's missing.
Fat chance! What do you think we're still watching for!
Anyway, apparently, the times Blaine will show up in upcoming episodes will be pretty epic, especially in the Michael Jackson tribute. Darren explains:
"I thought that before I was going to leave, they might write Blaine out just to make things easier on everybody. Nope! Right before I left, Blaine had a lot of really cool things to do for the Michael Jackson episode. When you see that episode, I shot all my stuff in four days. It was quick! It was a shotgun of crazy, exhausting stuff and it was both a thrill—because you really wanna do justice to these awesome songs—but frustrating, because I wanted it to be perfect and amazing. So hopefully they cut it right."
Amazing! Can't wait to see you startin' something! We're so happy you didn't beat it before this episode was shot. It's going to be such a thriller … yeah, you get the idea!
