Comedian Angelo Bowers Killed By Drunk Driver In L.A.
Heartbreaking.
We are very sad to report that comedian Angelo Bowers (above, right) was killed on Monday night by a drunk driver.
His comedian friend Josh Adam Meyers (above, left) was also injured in the accident, and he's currently in critical condition.
The Los Angeles comedy community has been showing their support by tweeting their condolences, and setting up a paypal account to help Josh with his medical bills.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Angelo's family, friends, and fans during this unbelievably difficult time.
Josh will also remain in our thoughts, and we wish him a full and speedy recovery.

When are we going to start having harsher punishments for people that DUI? It's nauseating how much people accept, encourage and glamorize drinking. But weed on the other hand is still frowned upon and its users are stereotyped. You sit there and go "wee im so wasted" and people cheer and chant..pfft
Theres NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER to drink and drive. But when you get caught the first couple of times its a slap on the wrist. Start taking away their licenses on their first conviction for a year and not just deduct points off their license.
How come the 12-Step Religious cult's "Higher Power" didn't stop the drunk driver; it is a REAL "Higher Power" isn't it?
This is extremely sad. Angelo was a good person and a very funny guy.
Angelo was the greatest dude. Josh is a great guy. I know them both do comedy with them.

Angelo Bowers was taken from us. There is no way around that. I hung out with him and we had dinner a few nights ago and we talked and laughed and made plans. He had the biggest comedy future of anyone I know and now…for it to stop now….is heart breaking. I am a mess
