Please Give Harry Potter An Oscar Nod!

They are literally DYING for it!

Even more For Your Consideration ads have come out for the last Harry Potter film, as Warner Bros. tries desperately to nab some recognition for the franchise.

Here are their latest attempts in the form of two new promo ads. (above)

Personally, considering the impact it has on the film world, the Academy would be downright daft not to recognize it in someway. 750 categories … there must be a place for it in there somewhere! LOL!

Why? These movies were really some of the worst I've seen. The first one was the only one watch worthy, in my opinion.

750 categories? Uhm no there are not that many moron.

Also this franchise deserves Teen Choice Awards, not Oscars.

I love Harry Potter but DH2 was not Oscar-worthy, the only one that might have been a contender was POA.

Gay Republican - categorizing HP films as 'Teen Choice' worthy is like categorizing all gay men as pedophiles. Seriously, it's unfair and ignorant and you should think before you speak. Everything Popular hates HP but posts on every article that has anything to do with them. Get real. HP was the best movie this year. Stop hating and being prejudiced towards it

Re: oscarforalanrickman – "categorizing HP films as 'Teen Choice' worthy is like categorizing all gay men as pedophiles" except its nothing like that since awards are based on OPINION and its a FACT that all gays aren't pedos. you're an idiot.

I think either Alan Rickman or Ralph Fiennes should get an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, their performances were really amazing.

What's next for Harry Potter? Would be interesting if they made a series with a darker plot, more towards the older audience

Oscar?! what a joke. Of course I wouldn't doubt it since most movies are trash nowadays. However, wake up. This is children's crap.
