The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia Is Hitting The Big Screen

Renowned documentarist Malcolm Leo has picked Jerry Garcia as his new subject.

Leo will present a doc featuring the Grateful Dead member based on a 3 hour conversation with Garcia in 1987.

The doc will have an unprecedented amonut of unseen footage so all the Grateful Dead fans will have something to be really grateful for.

Some of the footage includes rare home movies and Jerry Garcia Day at San Francisco Giants game.

The Grateful Dead were together for 30 years! They also performed over 2,300 live shows.

Garcia unfortunately passed away in 1995 shortly after the Dead were inducted into the Rock & Roll of Fame.
