And The Latest Pop Song To Get The Christian Treatment Is…

| Filed under: Music MinuteWacky, Tacky & TruePerezTVNicki Minaj

SUPER BASS!

That's right, folks! A Christian Greek organization at the University of Florida created a Nicki Minaj parody entitled Super Grace (above), and…….yeah.

Seems like this is becoming quite the trend! First, Christian kids covered the Black Eyed Peas with My Faith, and now Nicki's gotten the Christian treatment as well!

What's gonna come next? A religious version of Moves Like Jagger entitled Moves Like Jesus??? Ha!

What do U think? Are U feeling these Christian covers of pop songs?

with lyrics like these i could see how they would think this would be the perfect song to "christianize".

If people from the gay community would have covered any song you writers would be so excited about it and probably would have encoureged them to keep them coming. Hiprocrites. You want people to respect you guys, yet you hate on other's beliefs.

that is what all the child molesters say………….just wait……tick tock

I think they did a great job! Love it! I don't like that this was filed under wacky, tacky, & true. Most Christians, me for example, believe God made everyone the way they were supposed to be and love us all equally, gay, straight, whatever.

Re: triple M – Don't go out of your way to try and scare another poster like that. Li'l Dixie has no reason to believe that girl is underage if she is part of an organization at the University of Florida. How do you know she is underage? Li'l Dixie didn't knowingly do anything wrong. Don't say that kind of shit to people. You don't know who you are talking to. That person could get really worried and freak out. Come on, now.

Triple M, it's clearly stated that this is from the University of Florida, which is a college, and from a Greek organization. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the girl in this video is of legal age. Good effort though.

There are so many wonderful Christian rock\rap\metal songs out there I don't see the value in taking something so secular and turning it into a Christian song. Sure it is well done and gets peoples attention; but it can also make Christians look like idiots. especially if they are promoting what is known as "Fuzzy Slipper Christianity"; meaning the propaganda that everything will be alright if you just believe in Jesus. No, life still sucks. Jesus just gives people a hope for something better. IF they behave!! Yes it's not an all inclusive club folks, you have to follow the rules of a Christian Life to get that something better after this one. Loads of the happy-go-lucky Jesus freaks seem to leave that part out when selling their message.

Re: Genghis Khan – Now that you've called out Triple M, you will never hear from them on this thread again. They've been called out numerous times on this site and once they see it, they hide.

  14. 14

this is probably one of the least appropriate songs to "christianize." Here's to hoping they "christianize a Salt n Peppa song next.
