This is terrible!
Indian artist Balbir Krishan was attacked by an unidentified assailant during one of his exhibitions portraying gay artwork.
In the video (above), you can see someone wearing a handkerchief covering his face enter the room, ruin one of the paintings, then attack Krishan from behind.
Krishan is a double amputee who lost both his legs in a 1996 train accident. He now has artificial limbs.
He describes what happened:
"I was outside the hall talking to people and suddenly realized that there was someone behind me. Before I could turn back that person hit me on my head.
I have not portrayed homosexuality before, but I have painted male figures. Since I support homosexuality, this work was personal for me. However, I never expected such a reaction."
Unfortunately, the attacker got away, but there was a complaint filed with police and Krishan received a medical examination.
The paintings have since been removed from the venue.
So sad and heartless.
Watch the beginning of the attack (above). We warn you, it is violent.
