Nearly 100 years after their hay day, silent movies can still come out on top!

The Artist took home Best Film as well as Best Screenplay at the VFCC.

Jessica Chastain continued to pick up steam with a Best Supporting Actress with The Tree of Life as well as receiving recognition for The Help and Take Shelter. Michael Fassbender also continued his 2011 dominance with a Best Actor win for Shame.

But the real shocker came from the Best Actress category. The winner???

Elizabeth Olsen!!!

The youngest Olsen won for her work on Martha Marcy May Marlene. She's doing it all at only 22! We're excited to see where her career takes off!

Rounding out the winners included Michelle Williams for Best Actress in a Canadian film in Take This Waltz.

It's beginning to smell like awardz season!

Perez, how can you be shocked? You proclaim to be this major Hollywood insider of gossip and you yourself have posted about all of the critical acclaim she has gotten…so they are you really shocked Elizabeth Olsen won…or, is it that you are so jealous of all things Olsen, that you just can't help yourself?
