It's sure to be one of the most talked about movies of the year, and Demi Moore will be a HUGE part of that.
The Linda Lovelace bio-pic Lovelace got a major boost in credibility recently when it was announced that Demi had signed on to play the part of Gloria Steinem. As director Rob Epstein, the decision to cast her was simple, as the team was eager to have "an icon to play an icon," but he adds that they were quite "lucky" that she "agreed."
As for how the stars aligned for the flick, Epstein and co-director Jeffrey Friedman met with Demi to discus the casting and thankfully, Demi was "very familiar with the story." She had interest in the project right from the start, so their initial meeting "went well," and ultimately ended in success.
If ever there was a time for Demi to dig deep and get back in touch with her acting skills, it would be now. This could be life-changing for her, in more ways that one. We think it was a good deal all around that she said yes.
