They're baaaack!

AMC already has Mad Men, but now the network wants some seriously bad men too. Martin Scorcese's classic film mobster Goodfellas is getting the TV treatment!

The network, which is also home to hits like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, announced it put the series into development with the original creative team behind it.

The film's producer Irwin Winkler will return to executive produce along with his son David, while Nicholas Pileggi, who wrote the screenplay and the non-fiction book it's based on, will adapt it for television with Jorge Zamacona.

With the minds who helped make the film so great in place to work on the show too, we're pretty excited to see how this turns out.

Do U think Goodfellas will make a decent dramatic television series or will viewers be better off watching reruns of The Sopranos?
