U sure about that, Ashley? Wouldn't U rather do a few more movies with Morgan Freeman??? Ha!
After spending time earning a masters degree in public administration at Harvard, Ashley Judd is ready for some more acting…and for the first time since the 90s, she's headed to TV!
In ABC's upcoming drama Missing, Ashley will play a long-retired CIA operative "who is forced to rediscover her spy skills when her son goes missing while at university in Italy." Cool!
Here's what Ashley had to say about the action-packed show, in which she'll do many of her own stunts:
"I lived a very sedentary life [at Harvard]. I basically sat down for two-and-a-half years and didn’t get up."
"Obviously we have to have stunt doubles. But I do most of my own stunts. When I’m on that bridge in Paris and I’m shot and I fall into the Seine, I really did that."
"I like to fight. I find it rewarding."
And more from Ashley on why she chose to enter the TV world:
"Obviously I was aware that this is a golden age of television. The once impermeable membrane between TV actors and film actors is [disappearing]. I remember turning on The Big C, which is a show that I love, and seeing Liam Neeson."
We agree! It's a great time to be on TV, and we're excited to see the new show, Ashley!
