Barbie Can Be Just As Fabulous Bald!

| Filed under: Beauty BuzzEtc.Amber Rose

bald barbie proposal

We mean, just look at Amber Rose! That gurl is beautiful and FIERCE!!

So why isn't Mattel budging when it comes to making a bald Barbie?? ESPECIALLY when it's in the spirit of helping KIDS WITH CANCER!!

There's a campaign asking Mattel to make a bald Barbie so younger generations of cancer patients will feel less self-conscious without their locks.

Not only that but it would help other youngins learn the importance of beauty through difference. Not to mention the hats would actually fit then…

But Mattel has said they don't accept any ideas from the outside… And while they're currently working on new Barbies for 2012, they won't disclose any information on it.

Ugh! We hope they turn around… It would be so stupid of them not to.. if that b*tch can function with that small of a waist, she can function without hair too!

Amber Rose is NOT bald. Her head is shaved. That is completely different than a little girl losing her hair and actually being bald.

bald barbie is a cool idea.
as someone who had cancer at 21 and went bald. i can see it being helpful and raising money for cancer kid… mattel should be assamed not to be taking this idean with both hands and going for it.

I don't usually go for groups that pressure companies into doing certain things…..but in this case, I have to say that I think it is a great idea. I really think Mattel should do this.

I have an idea. Hey Mattel, instead of making dolls that look like the trashy family, the KK's why don't you make these dolls that would represnt beauty in the innocent children that are unfortunetly suffering from cancer. Then, with all of the millions of dollars that the KKK have made off of us dummies, they in the goodness of their black hearts can buy hundreds of thousands of those beautiful dolls and donate them to childrens hospitals all over the United States. It would be a win win for Mattel and the KKK's would be doing something good for a change and little children would feel good about themselves.

If they can make a Barbie in the form of the KarTRASHians, then they can make a bald Barbie for the poor kids with cancer!

Perez always love your writing! But love this post especially - Just by engaging in this discussion you are bringing sorely needed awareness to the fight against childhood cancer. The #1 disease killer of our children.

I don't think this could be something that could be mass produced and profited from and mattel is having financial hard times so why not make it a special edition doll and donate it to hospitals and sale it for a limited time to make it "in demand". If and when Barbie comes out with the KKKs dolls I will not buy another mattel/fisher price item.

The last time Barbie had a doll in support of breast cancer research people complained that Barbie had breast and they pulled it. It makes me think of how much complainers there are.

They got this amzing breakout 11 year old singer/songwriter to designate her song as their "mantra" for the movement: www.youtube.com/mirandafinn

I work for Mattel in a call center and we receive calls a lot of calls requesting this. As an order processor all we can do is write the suggestion down on a customer comment sheet. The management and product teams look through them and do get ideas from them. So for Mattel to say they do not take outside suggestions is false. If enough people suggest it and show a demand for it, they will more then likely make it. I know I myself have suggested it a lot. So I'm really hoping they make one this year.
