As the countdown to the end of Batman grows to a close, everyone is clamoring for deets on The Dark Knight Rises.
A few bits of the background info are floating around and if you don't want to know anything about it, then…
With the new flick, time has skipped forward a full 8 years after The Dark Knight. Fans will also get a chance to see the Batcave again as Wayne Manor was still being renovated after its destruction in Batman Begins.
If you're a bit hazy from the second, Christopher Nolan says that revisiting The Dark Knight is a good idea. The climax shows Gordon and Batman making a truce to cover up Harvey Dent's turn as Two-Face.
But the real questions are Who is Bane (and why is he British) and can we understand him?
Nolan comments on the latest Batman villian.
I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him
TDKR will be released on July 20th and tickets for the midnight showing are already sold out!
