He didn't call him out. He was asked about Mitt Romney and didn't really say anything about him.

Everyone thinks I'm a Dyke; just because I'm a fat slob, I hate men, my best friend is a lezbo, and my entire staff are unmarried women…does not mean I'm gay.

  3. 3

You know what else he could do to befriend the community? Come out already.

Okra - if you are indeed a Bucket-o-wings, how in the hell can you type a comment on this blog?

    So, George,
    -
The serious question of the day is to highlight 'unfairness to gays' and not the trillions in debt, the value of our homes imploding, excessive taxation and regulation strangling the economy, leading to the largest unemployment numbers since the Great Depressioin?
    -
    What a schmuck.

Re: all about it – That thought passed through my mind as well…..

Hey Mr. Hollywood celebrity! Tell us your opinion on this hot-button issue so we idiots can decide who to vote for in November! Seriously, don't make political decisions based on the opinion of some celebrity.

Re: FabLyfe03 – Really agree. He said "it is the wrong side of history to be on" which is a great line, and I don't watch Clooney much but, he wears that one out. Saying that we are on the last leg of civil rights is a really stupid thing to say for so many reasons.

Georgie just wants to marry his longtime GAY BOYFRIEND, Rande Gerber, the "husband" of that big DYKE Super Model, Cindy Crawford!!!

You do acknowledge that your 'Equal Rights For All' was coined by me. You're welcome to it; as a hetero, it's better in your hands now.

Hey, Start 'splaining, Lucy @ 9 - Are you one of Clooney's bitter ex's or something?
I'll believe it only if he says it.

Time for George to come out of the closet
It's sad his idol Cary Grant had to stay in the closet, times have changed, George COME OUT

Whats with all the empty seats ?????

Not really sure how Mitt Romney has a "deplorable" stance on gay rights. He's said no one should be discriminated against. Quit over dramatizing.

I'm tired of seeing people arguing that we should concentrate on other issues instead of civil rights. For the last time, this country doesn't run on a system where only one issue can be handled at a time. This is an election year. All of the issues will be and should be addressed. If you people really believed that we should be putting our efforts elsewhere then you wouldn't be trying to reinstate Don't Ask Don't tell, now would you? The beauty of the civil rights issue is that it can be fixed with a simple vote; we don't have to find trillions of dollars that we don't have and we don't have to win a war to call it a success, as opposed to other crises in this country. All we have to do is simply stop others from marrying someone they love. Sounds like an easy solution to me. The best part? No one loses. Even the people who hate gay people don't lose anything. Imagine, one of this country's biggest issues is that people want it to be illegal for two people in love to get married. The thought that they justify their intolerance by using the bible makes it even worse.

Re: luvs2hustle – He was asked a specific question by a reporter and he answered it. Had they asked him about the National Debt, he would have answered that question. Had they asked him about unemployment, he would have answered that question. But he wasn't. They asked him for his thoughts on Mitt Romney's stance on gay rights. If you want to call someone a schmuck, throw it in the reporter. He's the one who asked the question.
