Baby, minor, rumor mill type hints.
After last night's HUGE cliffhanger, we were desperate to hear from someone over at Glee about what this all means for the future of Finn and Rachel. Is this their way of really throwing in the towel? Is moving to New York really out of the question? How will the pair, plus Kurt, figure into the story of Glee post-graduation?
Cue Cory Monteith with some answers!
First off, if you're expecting Cory to become the school's janitor or resident drum player…Ehnt! Wrong! Way off base! Cory says that joining the school staff is not the way this is gonna "shake down." Now, as to the other, more serious rumor flying around that Rachel, Kurt and Finn will indeed go to New York and then get cast in a reality show, changing the format to "a show within a show," Cory had nothing to say in favor or against the idea. The only thing he pointed out is that the idea for season four "logistically could be a little tough."
Then, Cory added about staying on for another season:
"Thrilled! I think the way they're looking at doing the show for season four is really smart. If we pull it off, it'll be an interesting show to watch. Not too different than last year, but different enough to make it interesting."
Last year, huh? Interesting…What was different than last year than this year? We were at a different school, for one thing. Maybe the trio end of going to the same school and attempt to get a Glee program started up there? Doesn't sound so "revolutionary," but it could work. We like the idea of a "show within a show," though a reality gig would make it hard to come up with ways to make them sing. Maybe they'll get their own variety show. Maybe they'll win nationals and get their own show on TV. MAYBE. MAYBE. MAYBE.
Oh Cory. Can't you just take your shirt off and tell us more!
