Expendables 2 To Be PG-13??

Chuck Norris PG 13

We're not really sure fans will be happy about this, but the easily Hard-R sequel to the Expendables looks like it'll be watered down to PG-13.

It's true, one of the actors said that he demanded that all the profanity be removed from the script. We're not sure if that includes the violence or just the swearing, but you'll be surprised who demanded it:

Chuck Norris.

If this is true, we're relatively sure that the Chuck Norris Facts era is officially over… if anybody thought that it wasn't already done.

Here's what he said, and it sounds a little weird because it was translated from a Polish paper who interviewed Norris:

“In Expendables 2, there was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay. For this reason, many young people wouldn’t be able to watch this. But I don’t play in movies like this. Due to that I said I won’t be a part of that if the hardcore language is not erased. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be classified in the category of PG-13.”

Bummer!

We're a little surprised about this, because the MAIN GOAL of the movie is to be as kick-assingly action packed and macho as possible, which would include a lot of dirty words. So we're confused as to whether they thought that the mere inclusion of Norris would substitute enough that people wouldn't care about the rating change.

Weird.

Either way, it WAS translated, so maybe something was missed in translation and what it means is that there won't be anything worse than PG-13 language-wise, even if the movie is still R.

It's a guessing game at this point, but something is PG-13, that's for sure!

It better not be PG-13. If Chuck Norris does not like it, don't be in it, the first one did fantastic without him.

That sounds lame if this is true.

any interest I had just flew out the window, and Sly confirmed it on aintitcool.com
Like I didn't hate Norris as it was.
