Take note, Hollywood.
Bruno Mars just recently got off the hook for a cocaine possession bust in 2010, and people might be wondering how he got off the hook for such a charge.
The short answer? He did more than what was expected of him.
The judge fined him $2,000 and ordered him to perform 200 hours of community service and eight hours of drug counseling. He met those requirements and then logged MORE than the 200 hours of community service by community service in Los Angeles and Minneapolis. The efforts included charity videos and concerts, an anti-bullying campaign and work with children's charities and health organizations!
Not only that, but he went above and beyond and it was only a first offense — so we get the feeling that he learned his lesson hard and fast to want to make up for it in the way he did!
Hope you're on the straight and narrow now, Bruno!
