Bruce Overload! New Song, Cover Art, and Details Revealed From Upcoming Springsteen Album!
Ask, and ye shall receive…from Bruce!
Yesterday, we learned some new details about Bruce Springsteen's upcoming album, and we had mentioned that we were looking forward to hearing his first new single!
Now, his first single We Take Care of Our Own (above) has been released, along with the cover art AND a track list for his upcoming album Wrecking Ball!
Here's what Bruce's manager Jon Landau had to say about the album, which comes out on March 5:
"Bruce has dug down as deep as he can to come up with this vision of modern life. The lyrics tell a story you can't hear anywhere else, and the music is his most innovative of recent years…the writing is some of the best of his career."
Sounds fantastic! We'll definitely be giving the album a listen come March!
P.S. Check out the cover art AND track list for Bruce's upcoming album AFTER THE JUMP!

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE
Regarding "We Take Care of Our Own", as a tourist who was stuck in the dank Superdome during Katrina and the levee failures we really didn't think you (America) even knew we were in there. It was surreal and we wondered if we were totally abandoned. Sounds silly, but that's how it seemed. Thank you, Bruce for not abandoning America.

i wish it were true. we don't seem to take care of our own anymore. no pride in America. Everyone is in it for themselves and only seem to care about foofoo laws that don't help (nor hinder) the nation while the real issues we face are daunting and we are alone in them
such respect for this man, he is a legend!!
