The show saw a 25% year-to-year increase and has been number one in four key demos for 32 straight weeks!
This increase compares the week of 1/2/11 with this year's 1/3/12.
Jerry Springer and Steve Wilkos also saw season highs, with Jerry increasing seven percent YTY.

if you chose to fill your mind with those kind of shows……garbage in- garbage out
try filling your mind and your time with something more uplifting or educatonal or informative if you insist on parking yourself in front of the TV

take a walk in the fresh air instead
better still
go and volunteer that hour each day to whatever is worthy and right in your neighborhood…
be it a hospital- reading to sick children
a hospice, a nursing home maybe just combing the hair and talking to an ill patient
what about a school- ask the staff is there is anything you can do
how about your neighbor who isn't well enough due to recent surgery or old age to tend to their yard or flower garden
what about giving the overstressed new mom next door an hour to herself by watching the baby so she can relax in the bath finally

if you just open your eyes and your heart it will be obvious what you can do
and the selfish secret is that when you do for others- it enhances/enriches your life/spirit even more than it does theirs
