| Filed under: Media MinuteDolly Parton

What a birthday present!

Yesterday, Dolly Parton turned 66 and she unveiled a present that everyone can share.

The music legend is launching plans to build a $50 million water-snow theme park! Dolly opened up her first theme park, Dollywood, in 1986 and added a water park next to it in 2001.

The new water and snow wonderland will be near the Smokies in Tennessee and Dolly will partner with Grand Ole Opry owner, Gaylord Entertainment.

The new park is expected to open in 2014.

The park is going to be in Nashville as a replacement for Opryland…not the Smokies.

It's going to be in NASHVILLE. Dollywood is near the Smokies. FACT CHECK!

I'll add my voice to the choir….he needs to check his facts before he puts them on. Its Nashville. Maybe Hilton needs a map and a georaphy lesson.
