Jay-Z's 40/40 Club Cited For Health Code Violations

| Filed under: Legal MattersJay ZBusiness Blitz

It was some pretty bad timing for Jay-Z's 40/40 Club when the health inspector came moments after a fridge's motor died.

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene cited the club for several health code violations, several of which were about food being stored at the wrong temperatures.

But a rep for the club said that it was all because of that fridge motor that blew right before the inspector arrived. He said the staff never actually intended to serve any of the food from that fridge to customers.

He said the fridge was promptly fixed and the club reopened a day later.

Their health code grade is currently under review.

Maybe if Jay was spending less time with his new daughter and more time doing refrigerator maintenance, he wouldn't have these sort of troubles.

We are OBVIOUSLY joking, btw.

While Beyonce was ordering her Mail-Order Baby & Surrogate through Amazon.Com Jay-Z had all his SKANKY-HO'S in-n-out of that dive, dripping their toxic va-jay-jay juices all over the place INFECTING EVERTHING!

I always figured that Jay-Z was a douche bag. Nothing is too good for his wife and new born…but who gives a f*#@ about the general public, who are incidentally the ones who provide him the means to live such a luxurious lifestyle. Close his establishment down. Fail

If you have to clearly state that you're making a joke, maybe you aren't as funny as you think you are.

Wow, he really is a beast. Good thing he has money!

I don't much like Jay-Z and his "fridge just died" story sounds a little like falling into a lifeboat in Italy. But I gotta say this — he offers the restaurant for FREE for any large event a fellow musician might want to book. I was impressed by that.

I so regret purchasing his blueprint album 1 back in the day ,he is just filled with delusions of grandeur.
