Someone's watching over this girl.
We heard Bethenny Frankel's syndicated talk show was dead after Telepictures dropped it and no other networks had room in the schedule for it, but her guardian television angel must have pulled some strings.
The show, simply titled Bethenny, will actually air this summer for 6 weeks as a test run on Fox Television Stations in New York and El Lay before possibly expanding into other markets. Ken Werner, president of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, explained the situation in a statement reading:
"A year ago, we determined there was a need in the marketplace for a show that provided daytime women the opportunity to hang out with someone who understood their needs, desires and aspirations… a girlfriend. The research is clear that Bethenny is that person. Fox shared our vision and we have partnered with them to demonstrate to the rest of the country how compelling such a show can be."
That's right, ladies. Bethenny may end up being your BFF this summer and she's ready to be there
by your side in front of your eyes for the long haul too! The former Real Housewives star said in a statement:
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be working with Telepictures, Ellen DeGeneres and Fox in doing what I believe is the next best step in my life and my career. My passion is connecting to, inspiring and being inspired by my fans. I'm ready for the challenge of this new adventure, and I'm going to tackle it like I do everything else in my life. The queen of too much information is coming to daytime."
Ellen DeGeneres is serving as an executive producer and that's a pretty powerful ally to have on your side, so maybe that's why Warner Bros. wouldn't give up on getting this show on the air.
Will U be tuning into watch Bethenny this summer?
