There's no way we could be this lucky... right?!
According to TMZ, the two legendary singers apparently spoke about how much sense it'd make for them to work together at some point, and as it's being reported now,

In what we assume is the label's last stab at glory, Katy Perry will be re-releasing her smash album Teenage Dream, dubbed by the press release as "The Complete Confection."
Now, we assume this means there will be something more to the disc than just the singles that were on it before, but whether there will be new songs on it or just some of the many remixes floating around, we can't be sure. We do know that this is most likely the latest attempt to get The One That Got Away to the #1 spot, thus catapulting Katy Perry into music history by outdoing the late, great Michael Jackson's record with a sixth #1 single on the charts.
But can it be done? We shall see! You can pick up your copy of Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection on March 13th!
Will U be getting one?
UPDATE: We've just learned that The Complete Confection will feature tracks that didn't make it on the original album! Producer Tricky Stewart teased late last year that there were a lot of tracks he worked on with Katy that were really excellent, but just didn't make the initial cut. Now, with this new album about to be released, speculation is that most of their songs together will make it onto the disc. One track to look out for, according to Tricky is called Dressing Up. He insists it is going to be a "big record" that fits "right there in what her sensibilities are as a musician and a songwriter."
Sounds super sweet to us!
