Elizabeth Warren Fights For LGBT Rights In It Gets Better Video

| Filed under: Gay Gay GayPolitikInspiration

This is how politics should be run!

Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren chronicles her experiences witnessing bullying as a schoolteacher.

In her It Gets Better video, she encourages LGBT youths to contact The Trevor Project to find comfort against bullying. She makes an effort to reach out to the troubled youths.

What an inspiration!

The It Gets Better Project is a campaign started by Dan Savage and his husband in 2010.

Savage started the project after hearing the appalling numbers of suicides related to bullying.

Warren also wants to repeal the Defense Against Marriage Act if she is elected as well.

The candidate said the following on the matter:

I find it personally offensive that the federal government would pass a law to say that the terms of marriage should be left to the states; and then each state must recognize every other state’s marriage laws and then the federal government will recognize those laws except in the case of marriage equality. To discriminate against our own people and to enshrine that in federal law appalls me

Warren is running for Senate in Massachusetts.

Go Elizabeth…finally an evolved person with influence. More people should be like her and practice tolerance. She actually "gets it"…Good for her….It is NOT a persons orientation or color of their skin that defines a person, it is their CHARACTER….Until the world gets this, ignorance will continue. I wish for enlightened human race…..

So, guess who this MA resident is voting for!
It's nice to finally have someone intelligent, reasonable, and positive in the running. After Ted Kennedy died, we had a poor choice in that special election between Scott Brown and Martha Coakley (who just ran a crappy campaign). Warren is someone I want to support.

We just absolutely LOVE Elizabeth! Wouldnt it be just grand for all of us as a nation and a people if all leaders were like her? Imagine that.
