New Reports Suggest Demi's Meltdown Was Over The Death Of Her AA Sponsor
A death of a loved one can do irrefutable damage to some people.
The big question on everyone's mind following Demi Moore's emergency rush to the hospital earlier this week is "why?" Why would she be doing such harm to herself? Could it be because of her failed marriage? Did she just have to many past demons to face? One new report suggest that Demi's spiral can be attributed to the passing of a very important person in her life: her AA sponsor.
The reports have sprung up in the wake of learning that Demi is battling a very serious addition to Adderall and energy drinks. If her sponsor Pattsy Rugg were still alive, Demi might've had someone to guide her away from such harm. Then again, some suggest that Pattsy's death is actually the cause of Demi's spiral, as she has been distraught ever since.
We believe her death could play a part in all of this. Last year, at some function, Demi actually introduced Pattsy as her "mom," so they were clearly very close. But being a mom herself, we would think she would want to do what is best for her three kids … and that means taking care of yourself.
Start taking care of yourself, Dems! It's what everyone wants. It's what Pattsy would've wanted.

you obviously have never had or known somebody who had substance abuse problems. Rationalization is the worst thing you can do. I've heard it all. "i was sad because…i was mad because…i was celebrating because…it was such a great day at work…my cat died…." addicts will use ANYTHING to rationalize and you're not helping by adding fuel to the fire here.

If properly prescribed, Adderall is not at all addictive… I have ADHD and have been prescribed up to 60 mg (a relatively high dose) of it per day for the last few years. I usually only end up taking 30 or 40 mg on most days, if I take it at all, but I'm not physically or emotionally dependent on it. I don't know how it effects those who don't have ADHD, but if she doesn't have it, prescribing it to her is an extremely irresponsible move on part of her doctor. and as far as a Red Bull addiction? That's not much worse than those who drink coffee throughout the day. This woman has worse problems to deal with.
Demi, you need to fire your publicist. We understand your famous and drugs and alcohol come with it. But quit making excuses for why you got f'd up, I'm sick of hearing all these updates and changes of stories. Get some help, and stay away from the media!!!!
