Members Of Original Les Misérables Cast To Appear In Film!

| Filed under: Music MinuteBroadway BabiesFilm FlickersHugh Jackman

What a lovely tribute to the people who started it all!

Colm Wilkinson and Frances Ruffelle, who played Jean Valjean and Eponine in the original London production of Les Misérables, have been tapped to appear in the currently in-production film adaptation of the musical!

Wilkinson will reportedly play the Bishop of Digne, who inspires Hugh Jackman's Valjean to get his shiz together, and Ruffelle will cameo as a featured whore in the musical number Lovely Ladies!

The original lead says:

"I have come full circle."

He certainly has!

This is just too cool! We really couldn't be any more excited for this!

What do U think?? Are U looking forward to Les Misérables?

Now that I saw that Colm and Frances will be apart of it, I am. I am still a little disappointed tho that Taylor Swift is playing Eponine. I am not sure that she will do the part justice but at the same time I do trust Cameron Mcintyres decision, I just hope that he did the right one!

I am sorry. I will definitely not see it. When you look at the cast, you have Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Helena Bonham Carter, Sasha Baron Cohen, Anne Hathaway…….and Taylor Swift. I understand that she wants to try acting. But it is an insult IMO, that she would use her massive marketing machine to con the producers of this wonderful story to cast hetr. The she is so arrogant that she thinks she can stand beside this cast and consider herself an equal, because her brand is hyped to death.

I was looking forward to this…until Taylor Swift was cast.
No soundtrack for me. I'll stick to the OBC/OLC/Complete Symphonic Recordings thankyouverymuch.

I could swear I saw this as a movie a long time ago but not with these actors. Sounds good.
