I find it interesting when the DIVAs publicly address other artists they're not particularly fond of… This quote is a classic example: reptitive of the same word/phrases; no real substance to the quote and no real praise for the singer in question. Janet Jackson said something similar I belive, just saying she'd do 'fine'.
