Photos of Osama's Death Could Be Released To The Public

Reportedly, the CIA has at least 52 gruesome photos as well as recordings of Osama bin Laden's death.

And now, all of that may be available for public viewing.

After Osama's death, Judicial Watch brought a lawsuit demanding the release of the pics due to the Freedom of Information Act. Former director of the Justice Department, Dan Metcalfe, echoes this, stating that there are some parts of the records the government is "legally required to disclose"

The CIA believes releasing the photos could have backlash, including attacks on the U.S.

What do U think? Should the public be able to see the gruesome photos?

I think I would be fine w out seeing them, but very tempted to check them out if they are released.

I still wont believe that he is really dead even with photos, I think it's a double body and that he faked his death in order to get American's off his case and is living a secret life somewhere.

The white house has to approve the release. This is just more of Obama trying to say " Look what I did, Vote for me" Just like Biden was out talking about it again. Meanwhile remember the Intelligence was watching that house for 3 yrs. It was the Seals who did it and the Intelligence community who did all the work. Obama's only part was giving the OK when they said OK we got him.

The Seals are even telling Obama to SHUT UP! He wants to use this as his badge of honor when he had it laid in his lap. He is an asshole!

Noooooooo WTF is wrong with the C.I.A.? What good will come out of this? Do they realize how horrible this will be? And the government wants to censor the internet but plan on releasing these gruesome photos? DO NOT RELEASE THEM they will cause too much controversy and also could cause an attack to the US. Let's not play with any fires here.

Re: davetesh.com – It is OBAMA that is making them release this. This HAS TO BE APPROVED by the white house!

lol, and the sad thing is that ppl will still think we killed him last year.

Personally, this would provide a great deal of closure. I imagine a lot of people feel the same.

This is such a joke, and I find it disturbing that there are so many people who are so easily fooled by Obama
If we really had killed Osama, there would have been DNA, we would never have dumped the body at sea,the body would have been put on display
This has all been a hoax, and now with election time rolling around, Obama is going to beat an imaginary corpse to death,to show us what tough guy he is

Re: MR Pete – I'm sorry, but all of you people who believe that Osama's death is a hoax set up by President Obama are just as crazy as those loons who think that Bush planned the 9/11 attacks to wage an oil war in the Middle East.

Re: trollboy – Yep we're raving lunatics. Of course, cause we don't believe everything the tv tells us. Stark raving mad.

It's sad that politics have become nothing but Hollywood PR tactics. Whats even worse is no one picks up on it..Probably why this country is the way it is. It's obviously a "look at what I did" to get votes. My friend and I discussed this a while back and I pretty much said "they will release the photos when it comes closer to election so Obama can get a vote boost"

Re: trollboy – LMAO except we are over there for oil. Think about it, WW2 lasted ONLY 6 years. We were fighting people of equal power. The taliban do not have air support, they don't have spies, they don't have the weaponry we have..but yet this war has taken 10 years? To kill a small amount of people? It's basically cowboys with guns going up against Indians with bows and arrows..Clearly there were other objectives over there, and it damn sure wasn't "fighting for freedom"

Part of me says no. Why? Because I feel they will incite even more hatred and violence against the US. The other parts says "absolutely". Why should we not be able to see this? He was an evil monster who was finally destroyed. When an inmate on death row is executed, the family of the victim is allowed to be present during the execution. Why is this any different? He is responsible for so many deaths, why shouldn't those families be able to see him dead? As for me, I hate seeing pictures of dead people (I refuse to look at things like this), but in this (and Saddam Hussein's) case, I absolutely will. I want to see for myself that this evil thing is dead.

So many lies. It's truly disgusting beyond words.
