What's The Queen REALLY Like? Prince William And Harry Give Their Insights!

Do tell!

During a recent interview, Prince William and Prince Harry opened up about what Queen Elizabeth is REALLY like!

Here's what Harry had to say about the Queen, and how she leans on her hubby Prince Philip "for moral support":

"Regardless of whether my grandfather seems to be doing his own thing, sort of wandering off like a fish down the river, the fact that he's there – personally, I don't think that she could do it without him."

And here's more from William on how the Queen leads "a public royal life":

"I think she doesn't care for celebrity…and she really minds about having privacy in general."

"I think she's carved her own way completely. She's not had a blueprint. I think it's very important to be able to retreat inside and be able to collect one's thoughts and collect your ideas, and then to move forward."

Thanks for the insights, boys! It's always fascinating to learn more intimate details about people who are perceived as larger than life by the masses!

She's exactly like the SNL sketch behind closed doors.

She has never wavered in her public position.

I think the Queen is truly a strong wonderful woman and by the way, the movie, "The Queen" was well written, well made, entertaining to watch and best of all TRUE!

That told me crap. I want to hear that she runs stark raving mad in her big girl undies with a gin bottle in one hand and a portable microphone in the other singing "Firework". lol

I think the Queen is a great old gal with a lot of class. She'll be missed when she's gone.

As if they'll ever tell the public what they really think about grandma..

I've always had tremendous respect and admiration for Her Majesty. Her commitment to duty and her never failing ability to her country, her people, and her duty before herself makes her a role model for leaders throughout the world. I'm glad that Prince William has noticed this. She is a great example for him in the position he will one day hold. I have no doubt that he will be every bit as successful in his role as monarch as his amazing grandmother has been. God save the Queen!

for a country that isn't even part of the monarch you're all a little too preoccupied with what they're doing. While People mag and US weekly were starting Rumours about Kate being pregnant, but UK didn't even bat an eyelash at it. All the US of 'Freedom' America does is create celebrity. If the Monarch wanted to be a celebrity and watched by Big Brother, I'm pretty sure theres a Big Brother UK they could audition for. Just saying.

She had to take over as Queen at a very young age and she has done well as far as I can tell (I am US citizen) and she has beautiful skin.

Re: bbdollharlow – The Queen has a very steady personality, so why doesn't anyone else say she was 'horrible' to them? The Queen's idea of bonding and Diana's were probably quite different. Her majesty is about duty and carrying on tradition. Your other weighty and unsubstantiated accusation is quite possibly libel unless you can prove it. Her reaction was slow after Diana's death likely because Charles and Di were long divorced, and there was a lack of established protocol; but when the miles of flowers surrounded the palace, her subjects had wordlessly spoken, and she had given thought to how to react, she certainly came through.
