Amy Winehouse's Cause of Death Inquest May Be Reopened

amy winehouse death inquest might be reopened

So much for closure.

Earlier today, officials announced that the coroner who oversaw Amy Winehouse's cause of death inquest has resigned after "her qualifications were questioned."

As a result, the investigation MAY be reopened, if that's what Amy's family wants.

In a newly released statement, the family announced that they'll be "taking advice on the implications of this and will decide if any further discussion with the authorities is needed."

Obviously they'll do whatever they feel is necessary, but given the fact that they seemed satisfied with the results and said that they felt some relief after finding out what happened, we're not sure if putting themselves through all that pain again is the best idea.

What do U think? Should they reopen the inquest into the cause of Amy Winehouse's death???

    CRACK IS WHACK!

Her lifestyle killed her. Does it really matter what the final cause of death was? The last straw, so to speak.

I think it's entirely up to them, to answer your question, and not for us to speculate upon. If it gives them more closure, then so be it.

Also, it's weird, when I see a picture of her, I don't think of her as gone. Such a shame :(

What…now we are going to pretend she was never a crackhead and must of died by n
    natural causes…….

Sorry Mr. Winehouse, but your daughter was a loser with a great voice…..deal with it!

Unfortunately, for her family, reopening the case will not change a thing. It is a sad situation that does not have anything to do with her being a celebrity. If only people would realize that. Alcohol kills liver cells but guess what so does Tylenol and many over the counter medications that are legal also. If bits and pieces of your liver go bad ones body cannot process many of the substances that are put into our bodies and if your body cannot process the substance it becomes toxic in the blood causing many problems. I feel for Amy's family and friends because I know what it is like to lose someone at a young age when the person did not intend to pass away! May she Rest In Peace! And may her family be comforted in knowing that she is safe now!!!!!
