Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine Is NOT Pitching A Music Competition Show!
Ah well! It's not like we're lacking in music competition shows…
Earlier today, we heard that Interscope-Geffen-A&M chairman/American Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine might be interested in creating his own reality show.
His rep (of course) denied the story…and now Jimmy himself is denying it as well:
"I couldn't do a show, I have about as much talent to do television as you know…it's not what I do. I wouldn't know where to begin.
More from Jimmy about the reports that he's been pitching around a reality show:
"It's so crazy. It's nuts."
As much as we were kind of digging this idea, we DO already have X Factor, The Voice, and American Idol.
Plus, Jimmy's the chairman of Interscope! He's going to be just fine without a new reality show.
What do U think? Any chance that this STILL might happen???
