Leslie Carter Was Battling An Addiction To Prescription Medication

| Filed under: DrugsR.I.P.Sad SadNick CarterAaron Carter

This just makes it all the more tragic.

Although the autopsy on Leslie Carter has yet to determine the cause of her sudden death, sources close to the family have revealed that the sister of Nick and Aaron Carter was battling an addiction to prescription medication, and had moved from Canada to Upstate New York in an attempt to beat it.

While the family members she was staying with had tried to make the environment as safe and sober for her as possible, they left her alone for an hour to run some errands, and when they returned, she was unconscious.

Heartbreaking. Especially to think she was trying to get herself help.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this impossibly difficult time.

May Leslie R.I.P.

Thanks, thanks loser for making it harder for people who really need these drugs to get them. Dumb-ass ho!

moving is not an effective way to fight addiction. no matter where you go, there you are.

Re: CaliCoyote – i agree - i don't think she's a dumb-ass ho, but i actually need these types of medications and they refuse to prescribe them due to incidents such as these.

She looks like Heidi Montag! (when Heidi still looked good/normal)

Re: CaliCoyote – I'm assuming your dumb comment was for shock value and you're not really as fucking stupid as you sound.

*** WAKE UP ***** Moving from Canada to get help and clean up? TRY THIS iNSTEAD: Moving from Canada to get better access to the drugs she needed! Being a Canadian and having lived in the U.S as well, I can say that is is much easier to get the drugs you need (perscription ones) in the U.S from just about anywhere, as opposed to Canada!

Give me a break, she wasn't getting clean. Sad. really sad.

How come the 12-Step religious cult's "Higher Power" didn't work? It is a REAL "Higher Power" isn't it?

Wow, seriously? If you dont have anything nice to say, you should better shut up all together. You dont know what happened. She used to have a lot of problems. Still it”s no reason to bad mouth her. Her family and friends are grieving… for them it wont make a difference if it was an overdose or natural cause. Being an addict is a sickness. Dont u think that an addict rather wants to be healthy and a non addict?

Leslie was a great girl and thanks to her I met some of my best friends. Im really sorry for her family and friends… and especially for her baby girl.

The 12-Step religious cult's "Higher Power" body count is piling up…..REALLY, IT IS!

How come she wasnt in a rehab facility? This family has money they culd have out her in a place actualy trained to treat addiction? And why did every family member have to go run errands at the same time? Serioulsy makes no sense!

OK I will try again since my LAST COMMENT GOT CENSORED. Say WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY and you can leave a comment ANYWHERE on the internet. Isn't that weird? There is no free speech where questioning MEDICAL AUTHORITY is concerned. Sad and sick and dangerous. ONCE YOU GET ON DRUGS YOU BETTER STAY BABY!
