I just DO NOT get what the fuck this movie is about.. like what is this shit!? at least twilight and harry potter has a basic storyline to follow

I really like Jennifer, she seems like a strong girl. Re: Ladydaydreamer – I had never heard of it until I saw the trailer. Thus I don't get the hype, but hopefully the film will live up to it.

Re: Ladydaydreamer – Maybe if you read it, or read a summary about it…you would know. Geez.

Re: Ladydaydreamer – Read the trilogy: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay. They're really great and the trailer seems like its captured some really terrific moments from the first book. Looking forward to the movie!

Re: Ladydaydreamer – Clearly you have never read the books or you would understand EVERYTHING that's going on in the trailers. The story is very moving and thought-provoking and has real meaning unlike twilight (which I do like). The Hunger Games are sooooo much better!

Suzanne Collins's use of imagery for the books is fantastic, so much so that it'd be hard to replicate in movie form. The storyline is so unique & fantastic that I feel like it won't even matter…and if it does, I'll just re-read the books!!! Can't wait for March!

Re: Ladydaydreamer – Maybe you should pick up a book. I know it's hard to do this during this time, but you might as well attempt it so you don't look like a complete ignorant idiot. However, to help you out, it's about a futuristic time where the US is split into 12 Districts and the "Capitol" takes 2 children (one male and one female) between the ages of 12 and 18, trains them in the art of survival and has them fight to the death till one remaining "tribute" survives. You would have also figured that out if you watched the trailer! Pay attention next time.

I can't wait! I read all three books and am so excited to see the movie on the 23rd.
@Ladydaydreamer and @Everything popular is wrong - If you read the books, you will understand the hype. They are amazing books. Any time I movie comes out that was a book first, I recommend reading the book (or in this case, books). They usually have details the movie can't fit in. Even the Twilight movies and HP movies were missing details and parts of the story.
