And our hearts just broke. We're shattered. That just sounds … tortuous!
To make room for a new comedy block, FOX has confirmed that Glee will be going on a seven week hiatus. Beginning March 6th, Glee will take a break and be replaced by Raising Hope at 8, followed by I Hate My Teenage Daughter at 8:30, New Girl at 9 and the Season 2 launch of Breaking In at 9:30.
The show's "winter finale" (which we were pretty sure was the Christmas episode, but whatever) on February 21st and will return on April 10th. The only good news is that when it returns in April, the show will air all originals through the end of the season.
Presumably, that will be the beginning of the end. Nothing is concrete yet, but the deep pain in the pit of our stomach tells us that those episodes will be the last for a lot of our favorites. It's going to be so hard to see them go.
We're going to have to spend those seven weeks in deep mediation to mentally prepare for this.
On second thought, maybe we should start now …
