John Mayer And Tony Bennett Take One More For The Road!

| Filed under: Music MinuteJohn Mayer

This will certainly hold us over until his new album is finally ready!

Tony Bennett teamed up with the likes of Lady GaGa and the late Amy Winehouse for his album Duets II: The Great Performances, but for his latest single, One For My Baby (And One More for the Road), he is joined by none other than John Mayer!

Ch-ch-check out the just-released music video (above)!

John's voice really lends itself well to this kind of jazz!

We like!

How about U?

Excellent. Bennett is flawless, Mayer shows a fun and skilled new side.
John needs to watch Bennett on the parts where their both singing together to ensure
simultaneous starts, bends and finishes on the phrasing instead of looking elsewhere.

Now that's music!! Bennett and Sinatra still set the bar…Mayer is excellent, too. Most of today's singers are not talented.

I had liked Tony Bennet, but a whild back he shot his mouth off on Howard Stern about 9/11
Than and there I was no longer a Tony fan

@V@, good observation. I actually usually harsh on John, but I admit that secretly listen to Battle Studies from time to time (skipping passed that horrid rendition of Crossroads. WTF). Anyhoo, enjoyed this a lot. Nice work.

damn so much better than that hag Madonna! i am not THAT old but i would much rather listen to these two than her weak attempt at a come back. TB is awesome and timeless!

Re: PinkyTuscadero – Mayer sings solo, and any backup would normally watch HIM. Collaborative vocals are a whole different animal.
