Paz De La Huerta Axed From Boardwalk Empire

Oh boy! Who the hell is left on this show now? What does that make, four of the original cast canned? Phew!

It was confirmed today that Lucy Danziger, played by Paz de la Huerta, will not be coming back from her cigarette formula run in season three of Boardwalk Empire. Now, Michael Shannon’s Van Alden will have to take care of their baby all by his lonesome.

While HBO has yet to comment on the decision, we imagine it was nothing more than a creative one and since she didn't get whacked like Michael Pitt, Dabney Coleman and Aleksa Palladino, her coo-coo character might make a reappearance some day … just not as a series regular.

Whomp, whomp!

Love that show, but she was the worst part of it anyway. So no big lost. Horrible actress and horrible person.

this is a really unattractive woman.
i though her part was a waste of film. losing her is NO LOSS

Isn't she like a raging alcoholic? Maybe she should get some help and try acting again later when she gets it together.

Good Riddance, That character is annoying

I thought she was wonderful in that role, but maybe she's too close to the character in real life? Seems that way.

What are they doing with this show? All the interesting characters are being written off. Although she is a train wreck in real life, she really brings a lot to this show but writers let her character slowly "die" by that stupid baby story line. If anyone needs to go, its Michael Shannon. He's a fantastic actor, but the character is annoying and storyline brings the show down.
