Sad.

Oscar winning cinematogrpher Mike deGruy and Aussie writer-producer Andrew Wight died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.

National Geographic and James Cameron released a joint statement, ID'ing the victims in the crash.

The two were said to be filming a documentary when the helicopter crashed in eastern Australia.

Mike was a parent at my school, he always was in helping with book club. Such a loss, he was just the most kind person, dad, has a wonderful family. So sad.
