Two Acclaimed Filmmakers Die In Helicopter Crash

Sad.
Oscar winning cinematogrpher Mike deGruy and Aussie writer-producer Andrew Wight died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
National Geographic and James Cameron released a joint statement, ID'ing the victims in the crash.
The two were said to be filming a documentary when the helicopter crashed in eastern Australia.
Cameron said the following about the fallen filmmakers:
Mike and Andrew were like family to me. They were my deep-sea brothers and both were true explorers who did extraordinary things and went places no human being has been.

Their poor families and friends. Wishing them peace.
Noooo. These guys have been involved in some amazing nature documentaries. One of my favorites is "The Private Life of Plants". Sad.
Mike was a parent at my school, he always was in helping with book club. Such a loss, he was just the most kind person, dad, has a wonderful family. So sad.
