What A SMASH! Watch All The Performances From Last Night's Debut Here!

Now that's how you kick off a show!

Last night, the premiere of SMASH debuted on NBC and those of you who resisted the temptation of downloading the pilot on iTunes and watching it OnDemand finally got a chance to see it in all it's glory. We invite anyone who wants to to disagree with us, but in our opinion, that might be the best drama pilot episode of a new series since Lost. The talent, the story, the music — it all fit together so seamlessly and brilliantly. Stand outs for us included the impeccable, scene-stealing efforts of the legendary Anjelica Huston and the captivating voice of Megan Hilty, whose character wasn't who we thought she would be — and we were pleasantly surprised by that.

But enough about our thoughts. We want to get yours! And in order to do that, we'd like to share with you all the performances from last night's pilot episode! Check out the video (above) to watch Let Me Be Your Star, the closing number to the pilot. Then CLICK THE JUMP to watch all the rest of the sensaltional performances!

And now, the money question: What did U think? Will U be tuning in every week?

dude youre gay so we already know that no matter how awful it is youll back it.

that aside, the fact that you fill all that space and dont set forth any tv ratings tells me everything i need to know.

you dont care if its good….it just fits your agenda….

with all that hype, speilberg, acadamy award winner, superbowl hype…it got a whopping….3.8

i have nothing against the show…i just have issues with hype and fake nonsense you throw. you dont care about anything but your agenda and thats what every piece of news you see revolves around…not truth, and certainly not fairness

LOVED the show. Bringing in 11.5 million viewers for a debut show is excellent today also. I loved Katherine McPhee in it. Though I disagree with the comment about it being the best drama pilot since Lost. I think Once Upon A Time was fabulous too. I'll diffinitely be watching Smash ever week.

It was shitageously bad. FIrst Debra Messing is just doing Grace Adler - oh with the tryig to adopt a baby storyline thrown in. I mean really? could they throw in every cliche'? The struggling waitress who is a superstar in the making, the underused broadway girl dying for the part, the suave director who will romance the starlett, gay showtune writer and his mensch best friend, dragon lady Angelica Houston…throw in the disapproving parents for Kat McPhee and the boyfriend who works in they mayor's office…the original songs were bad, and Kat McPhee did not win Idol or have a solo career for a reason. Smash was no Smash…

Loved the pilot! What a GREAT show! I am so so hooked already.
Really hope and pray the ratings continue to hold steady for this show. It´s totally worth it!

BTW Jack Davenport is one sexy sexy man. Yummy. HIm and Kat Mcphee have a sizzling chemistry on screen. Can´t wait to see how their story develops!
I will definitely be tuning in every week for sure! Go Smash!
