Bill O'Reilly Has Temper Tantrum Over Proposition 8 Ruling On His Show!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooGay Gay GayBill O'Reilly

So much for all those brownie points he scored with us for defending Ellen!

Listening to this man try to justify his blatant disregard for equal rights and disgusting bigotry is truly nauseating.

After the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals issued its ruling yesterday that the 2008 ban on gay marriage in California "serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California," and was therefore unconstitutional, Bill O'Reilly essentially took to his show last night to cry, stomp his feet and call the ruling "judicial activism!"

Check out the sickening clip (above)!

Oh that's right! Because it's justice until the court system rules something with which you disagree - then it's just activism!

Frankly, his behavior is, if nothing else, just completely embarrassing, and if he thinks anyone with a brain in their heads is fooled into the thinking that the nonsense he's spewing is an actual, educated argument and not hiding his obvious hatred for the LGBT community, then he's dumber than we thought he was - which is truly a feat in itself!

Maybe you should spend less time worrying about the state of marriage in America today and more on why your own failed!

Just saying!

LOL!!!!!!!! I just blurted out laughing @ what you posted Perez!

  3. 3

there is ZERO 0000000 ZERO 000000 evidence in academia that proves a homesexual couple is a dysfunctional family. ZERO. there are LOTS of studies in sociology on this subject and there is ZERO effect on homosexual couples raising children.
THE only effect is OUTWARD EXTERNAL bullying because society, AKA bigots like bill o'reilly STILLLLLLLL argue about LGBT community and how its "unnatural". The problem is THEM NOT THE GAYS so fuck off bill orally you're the scum bag that isn't natural. you're not logical. you make the world a disgusting place. and we should be arguing whther or not ppl like him should have a fucking show on a huge network. ugh. IM DONE!

  4. 4

hate to break it to all of you, but unfortunately this is never going to get by the supreme court. while talking to an attorney yesterday he pointed out that there is absolutely nothing in the 14th amendment or the equal protection clause that says that gay marriage people have the right to marry. and everyone who says that's discrimination, well guess what. discrimination happens all the time. even in small cases. for example, you can be denied space in an apartment if you have a pet. that's legal. some lawyers are denied space from an apartment building because they know the full extent of their rights and the super wouldn't want to deal with it. that's legal. plus, it is really scary that when it's put to a vote, the government in california went against it. imagine the tables turned. the people in california want gay marriage to be legalized, and 2 men in black robes won't have any of it. think of the reaction then. o'reilly is right on this one-it's tyranny.

  5. 5

ps, perez, no one can take you seriously when you have to insult people to try and prove a point. that's not classy at all, especially making fun of a failed marriage.

  6. 6

Wow! Bill Reilly is the stereotypical Republikkkan, he's a homophobic bully that twists the word of the the law to conform to his twisted viewpoint. I know Faux Republikkkan News is pretending to be an unbiased news site, but I can't even use those combination of words In a sentence without laughing. People watch O'Reilly thinking he is a true journalist, and he is nothing more than a right winged ignorant fool spewing the thoughts of America that is no more. Go to hell O'Reilly, the devil will have a seat right next to him with your name on it.

  7. 7

Way to let both sides of the debate talk, bill. And btw, how do you think anything gets done in the country? It happens in a court. So your argument is invalid.

  8. 8

I'm from Canada, and in Canada gay marriage is legalized … like the ENTIRE country. For the past 7 yrs or so. You would THINK there would be problems … you would ASSUME that the family marriage is off balance or whatnot (according to homophobes) … but to be honest, no ones complained, no ones gone off the deep end, and in fact I don't even think people realized that gay marriage was legalized (in a good way, as in not realizing that there is THAT big of difference between the different types of marriages) ALSO, I dont even think Canadians had to vote on this, the courts just made the decision and no one really cared. Anyone from the USA … i DARE you to come to Canada and say our nation is somehow effed up because gays are allowed to marry. You'd come and see we're exactly the same… gay marriage hasnt effected anything -.-

  9. 9

You should really stick to tabloid fodder . . . marriage has become a joke with no reasoning for it!

  10. 10

Yeah attacking a persons failed marriage is just pathetic, even if it's Bill O'Reilly. Was almost sympathetic to the cause here, then I read that line. That is some very low class shit from a man who said he would no longer bully. Perez give up the whole 'activist' schtick you got going on, you are a failure. The fact you would write that line proves you are not worthy of championing any causes.

  11. 11

Re: gypsy1020 – This would make you a scumbag on the far left! It is amazing when people call out who will be in heaven or who will be sitting next to the devil!! Did you ever think your the devil who can call people out like this and you are the saint in your painted picture of yourself!! One day U will have to answer for this too!!!!

  12. 12

Re: krimekat – You're right - marriage has become a joke. But not because of the gays, but because so many people get married for the wedding as opposed to the marriage. Weddings are a multi-billion dollar industry - that is what it is all about. Sure, for some it has major religious significance, but if you are not religious, you can make a real commitment to someone without a wedding.

  13. 13

PEEREX, regardless of your viewpoint on this issue. "legislation by judicial fiat" is in itself un-constitutional. I personally do not give a shit who marrys/fucks who. who i fuck is my business and none of your own. BUT all that being said judicial fiat is wrong.

  14. 14

If marriage isn't a right, then NO ONE has the right to marry and that means ANY MARRIAGE can be challenged by a homosexual or anyone else. Imagine if a homosexual drafted Proposition 12 - a law banning marriages of heterosexuals based on the fact of high divorce rates and this law passes in California b/c it's put to a vote! O'Reilly and these conservatives need to chill the hell out!

You cannot deny someone due process under the law. Everyone deserves equal protection under the law. Laws cannot be created based on religion as there IS a separation of church and state. The only reason why some want gay marriage not to happen is because of RELIGION - not because of ANY LAW. I suggest O'Reilly and these conservative wingnuts (who by the way, claim that they are constitutionalist and loves our founding fathers yada yada yada) to read the 14th Amendment and the 1967 ruling of Loving v. Virginia.

Re: Jesssdabest – Canada! Who the fuck or where the fuck is Canada!!! Everybody is running to Canada for that great life!! Stay the fuck up there in your Oasis that nobody cares about for one second what your country does!!

    17

Reminds me of some of the arguments rendered in a documentary I saw where whites gave all sorts of inane reasons why blacks shouldn't be given equal rights in the eyes of the law. It's the gay KKK.

  18. @v@ says – reply to this

    18

Re: Yenkme – I'm working in Canada right now, and Re: Jesssdabest – is right. Everything's cool, gays have equal rights under the law, and the sky didn't fall. The only thing different is that everybody seems fine with it. No division.

  19. 19

You all know that in 1968, just 20% of white people and 50 % of black people approved of inter-racial marriage; BUT the supreme court took matters in their own hands and decided that it was unconstitutional. Sometimes, it is necessary for the government or the courts to decide things that an unfortunately large amount of people are too idiotic to see. All of these people who disagree with gay marriage will be laughed at in fifty years time.

  20. 20

There IS a fundamental right to marry. I don't know what he's talking about.

  21. 21

I think that it was either Ellen or Portia who spoke about the so called voting outcome. You cannot have the majority vote in regards to minority. Gay rights is a civil rights issue, not the same as the Black Civil Rights movement. It is the court's decision to determine what is unconstitutional. I live in New York and ever since gay marriage has been legalized, there have been absolutely no change in the way I or other NYers live that can be traced back to gays being allowed to get married. It is inevitable that in the next decade or so, gay marriage will be legal in all states.

  22. 22

BILL OREILLY IS OLD ENERGY THAT NEEDS TO PASS

  23. 23

The point that is being missed in all this is that the courts overturned the voters. Courts are not supposed to have more power than the voters UNLESS it violates a predetermined law. As others have pointed out, unfortunately, Prop8 was voted into power by the voters and there is not a law that it violates. I don't agree with Prop 8. I support gay marriage with protection to religious institutions. Maryland, my home, is currently working on a bill as a compromise to both. Now if either side doesn't like the bill then they can force it to a ballet initiative and let the voters decide. The court does not decide for us about new laws. They decide if a law was broken aka pre-existing laws. Since there's not one on the books for this, Prop8 can't be overturned by a court. That is, in fact, judicial activism. The judicial branch is, in essence, creating laws and stripping the voters of their power. It's called check & balances. The judicial branch is supposed to uphold the laws not make their own. And Perez, grow up. I understand that this angers you but good grief dude. Chill out. Let the process work itself out. Don't be so mean…especially if you're gonna preach about hate and bullying.

  24. 24

LOL! What a stupid conservative cun*t.

  25. 25

The Civil Rights movement in the 60's would not have happened if it were not for the state's involvement in protecting its people. Had it been left to a vote, we may very well still be seeing blacks not allowed to eat in the same restaurants as we do, or separate schools. I'll bet the same people complaining about gay marriage right now had mothers and fathers who were complaining about black rights. You're kidding yourselves if you deny it. It's as poetic as it is destructive. How can we call ourselves "The Land of the Free" or "Equal Opportunity" when we have every day citizens going out of their way to take away the rights of their fellow citizens? We as a nation should be embarrassed. And the fact that millions of people in this country have had their rights taken away justified by religion is reprehensible.

  26. 26

    Re: joethehobo

    Agreed.

    28

Lol did you even watch the video Perez? Or did any of the extremely ignorant people who read this site watch the video? He wasn't saying anything against gay marriage, he was saying the method in which they bestowed the right was wrong, and it was univerally used you'd completely break the check and balances system, please watch the fucking video and stop being so fucking stupid everyone.

  29. 29

Bill O'Reilly is a ignorant fraud! I know where he grew up and went to PRIVATE High School, and he did not have the rough childhood he pretends he did. And as for Kimberly Guilfoyle, it's no coincidence that her ex (Mayor Gavin Newsom) opposed Prop 8, and she's on tv defending it!

  30. 30

Re: gypsy1020 – Oreilly is NOT a Republican. I know all you liberals like to throw the R card whenever there is someone you disagree with. He is an Independant and BTW Obama also does not approve of gay marriage . Do you call him a Republican also?

  31. 31

Maybe you should stick to Reporting news, Not writing long-winded personal comments.

  32. 32

Re: kappuhcheenoh – Oreilly doesn't say he had a rough childhood. He says he went to private school and that the area around him was rough. If you read any of his books, you would know that.

AND BTW Obama claims to have been raised on food stamps by a single mother and actually his Mom ditched him and ran off with one of her "husbands" and he was raised by his VICE PRESIDENT of a BANKER and went to the most Exclusive school in Hawaii for the few years he was there. It was about $9,000 a year when he attended.

  33. 33

Re: Pisky – Cut the crap. He has spoken out against the gay lifestyle time after time again, and continues to stand in the way of gay rights. I hope you're not that naiive.

  34. @v@ says – reply to this

    34

Re: joethehobo – I wonder if Bill's addressed the NDAA in the same way.

  35. @v@ says – reply to this

    35

This is a non issue. At least it should be. DEBT, WAR AND UNEMPLOYMENT IS AN ISSUE.

  36. 36

O'Reilly sickens me so greatly with his blatant hate for anyone who is not a white republican (or should I say tea-party supporting) American male. He is so racist, so discriminatory and so extremely ignorant. The fact that Fox allows this man his own show for as long as they have is evidence in and of itself that they are extremely corrupt. Karmas a bitch Bill, and you'll get yours sooner or later. :)

  37. 37

Re: gracyy – your wrong its only legal to deny a pet to deny someone based on age race or occupation.. anything for that matter. I have had experience with the legal system on this one particularly myself. I was 18 and the landlord did not want me renting because of my age. My lawyer called her and said that he would take action as that was descriminatory and illegal. Case in point. You sound like an idiot when you dont know what your talking about. Just saying.

  38. 38

    *you're

  39. 39

What difference does it make? If you can have an opinon Perez, about gay marraige, why can't Bill? That is what truely is disgusting!!! You're a hypocrite! Just saying! :)

  40. 40

Bill is right. Marriage is not a right. Therefore someone can be discriminated against when it comes to marriage. The STATE..meaning the MAJORITY of people voted AGAINST it, but yet you have 2 people overrule that..Whats the point in electing people? Whats the point of even voting? It's the same with weed..Most people want it decriminalized..but yet even if they were to win the vote it'd get overturned somewhere. I don't think Bill is calling out gay marriage, he's calling out the government for pulling this type of crap. Basically everyone is missing the main point and that point is 2 people in power > the people THEY work for. End of the day, we're wasting time with idiotic crap like that..Isn't California billions of dollars in debt? Don't they have gang problems, illegal immigrant problems? Tons of drugs coming in from mexico? But yet they are worried about an irrelevant issue (marriage) for an irrelevant MINORITY.

  41. 41

the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals get overturned 2/3 of the time…

  42. 42

Since man can't get it right…God will. I say good luck with that one ’cause it will be His way. He already deemed the proclivity an "abomination". God Bless!

  43. 43

Except that he wasn't talking about if marriage was right or not - he was upset about how the judges are overruling what the voters have chosen. Regardless of the issue, it is taking away a LEGITIMATE RIGHT (the right to vote) by circumventing what they have voted and turning it down. I'm all for everyone having the right to marry - but at least get on your soapbox when the argument is over the actual argument of legalization of gay marriage.

  44. 44

Re: carolskey – Yeah… You keep waiting for that…

Seriously, where are these people coming from??

  45. 45

So two straight people decide to get married. They have a RIGHT to go down and get a marriage license. No? Prop H8 says to same sex couples they do NOT have a right to get a license. That goes against the 14th amendment of equal protection, Bill!! Geez, O'Rielly and the bigots who post here, your complaints and harassment sound like the cries of dinosaurs sinking in the tar pits. Go down, haters! Equality now.

  46. 46

Re: NookiesWA – "irrelevant minority"? Thanks for not hiding your bigotry from the world! It's good to know who our enemies are!

  47. 47

Re: NookiesWA – BTW, why does a fat old perv dude have a pretty girl as an avatar? do you have sexual confusion, bigot?

  48. 48

Re: bgbreakdown – Nookies WA openly talks about his hatred for black people. This is who we're up against. No one takes him seriously anymore.

  49. 49

Re: RachelSarahM – no, that's not true. you can deny someone space in an apartment building for whatever reason you want. ie., if you were trying to sell something on craigs list and you said, "only selling to people with brown eyes" well you might be crazy but you're not breaking the law. there is nothing illegal about that. i think i might know what i'm talking about growing up in a house full of practicing attorneys, so no, i'm not an idiot, nor do i sound like one.

  50. 50

I don't think people understand what a right is. A right is something that's inherent and identified by the U.S. Constitution. Nowhere in the Constitution does it message anything about marriage. Therefore, it is not a recognized right. Secondly, the part of the Constitution the judges base their decision on is the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment. However, I don't think that applies because the current marriage laws apply to everyone equally, i.e., a man may marry any woman of consenting age and not more closely related than a second cousin.

  51. 51

    — LADY GAGA —

  52. 52

Re: bgbreakdown – Another idiot that instantly labels someone a bigot..You know, YOU ARE allowed to disagree with a minority without hating them right? Thats why a lot of people find gays to be annoying..If you disagree with them you're instantly labeled a bigot, homophobe..You can't even disagree with a black or hispanic person these days without them going "ZOMG YOU DISAGREE WITH ME YOU'RE RACIST"..kinda like all the morons that went "you're racist and hate black people" when people would call out Obama..give me a break.

  53. 53

Re: RachelSarahM – No..Your lawyer was making wild threats knowing damn well it wouldn't hold in court. Gays can be discriminated again, ugly fat people as well..As well as age. The only two groups that cannot be refused service are blacks and women..Due to the The Civil Rights Act of 1964..A privately owned apartment complex can reject you because of age or how you look..unless you're black.

  54. 54

Was that a Vermin Supreme reference in there? lol "shoe on head"

  55. 55

Re: NookiesWA – You've explicitly stated, not even implied, that you dislike black people. Multiple times.

  56. 56

Re: joethehobo – Yes, but she didn't know that. She saw that I did not agree 110% with the 'gay movement' and instantly labeled me a bigot SOLELY because I did not agree. Even thou she saw no previous comments from me and the comment she replied to had no homophobic remarks..kind of proves my point on how people love to label someone racist/homophobic/bigot simply for disagreeing. I've said this before ^_^

  57. 57

Re: NookiesWA – Oh, the tumultuous relationship we have, NookiesWA… You're so delusional it's almost endearing. And I mean that in the nicest way possible.

You don't think 'irrelevant minority' is kind of an insensitive thing to say?
