A big step for both of them!
Besides fronting one of the best modern rock bands of the day and acting as a coach on The Voice, Adam Levine is launching his own record label, called 222. His ambitious move has been rewarded with a very exciting first artist, Matthew Morrison!
The Glee star plans to release his sophomore album with the label as early as the spring and in the press release, raved that sharing the "same vision" with Adam about his album has really helped the record come "together." Adam added:
"Starting my own label has been a long-time goal of mine, and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening. Great things are in store for [Matthew] with this release."
We hope so. We hope you guys have worked out something really unique for Matt, something that will set his new music apart from his last record. (Let's be fair: it was decent. Not great. Not up to his full potential at all!)
A big congrats to you both! We're looking forward to seeing — and hearing — what comes out of this new partnership.
