No Surprise, Movie Ticket Price$ Hit All-Time High

Movie tickets just keep getting more and more expensive.

Ticket prices hit an all-time high in 2011, with the average price of admission rising from $7.89 to $7.93.

Wait, what?? Where in this country can we go to a movie for under $8 bucks? Heck, under $12 bucks!

Experts say this isn't just inflation, but is caused by the big changes in the movie industry.

Not only are more and more blockbuster-type movies are being made but bigger and better multiplex movie theaters are being built and with 3D moves on the rise, movie goers don't even have a chance anymore. 3D movies alone cost an additional $3.

Are movies even worth it anymore?? We might just have to stick to Netflix.

Oh wait….

AND THAT'S WHY MORE AND MORE PEEPS ARE GETTING THEIR MOVIES FREE ONLINE JUST LIKE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. THEY NEED TO GET A CLUE. THE ECONOMY AINT WHAT IT WAS BACK IN THE DAY…

I only go on cheap tuesdays (barely cheap now a days), unless i really want to see the movie and think it's worth the money, or if i have extra cash to throw around. It's a good thing a lot of movies coming out suck now a days, so i really don't go to the theaters much anymore. I just stay home and download free movies online with my bf.

Oh man! That just sucks. This has me thinking twice next time the guy with the bag of goodies approach me outside the barber shop/hair salon. I'm not exposing what's in said bag, nor am I promising to buy, but it would be heck of alot cheaper to watch on my flat screen then the big screen. See, just when I try to do the right thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this.

If everyone would just chill and wait a couple months from the release date of the movie they can go to red box and rent it for under 2 bucks. The stars nowadays make millions of dollars a movie and are so overpaid so they have to make it up somewhere. I wait and rent it. A family of four to see a movie and have snacks now is about 60.00 bucks. Ridiculous. We can rent a movie and have snacks for under 7 bucks for 4. That makes sense.
