Coroner Allegedly Tells Whitney Houston's Family Cause Of Death: Drugs, Not Drowning

new whitney houston cause of death details revealed

Sounds like we're getting closer to having some definitive answers.

Yesterday, we heard that an autopsy was scheduled to be performed on the body of Whitney Houston, and it was looking like she might have drowned in her hotel room bathtub at the Beverly Hilton.

Now, sources from Whitney's family are saying that the L.A. County Coroner's office has told them that she didn't drown to death. The family is being told that she died from "what appears to be a combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol."

The Coroner's office also reportedly told the family that there wasn't enough water in Whitney's lungs to conclude that she had drowned.

Sources from Whitney's family are also saying that her body was discovered by her aunt Mary Jones, even though we had previously heard that her hairdresser was the one who found her.

We're hearing that Whitney's mother is having her body flown back to Atlanta, possibly as soon as tomorrow…unless the police put "a hold" on the body. Given the fact that the Coroner hasn't found evidence of foul play, we'd say the police shouldn't have a problem with this.

Stay tuned for more concrete details.

Well, the other news sources won't say anything like this until toxicology reports come back. Shouldn't you wait as well? And who, exactly, are these "sources?"

  2. 2

rx drugs..and alcohol dangerous: heath ledger, brittany murphy (secondary cause), amy winehouse, leslie carter, anna nicole smith, daniel smith, michael jackson..and now whitney houston

Re: CatsClaw – He copies and pastes right from teeee emmmm zzzeeee. Those are his usual sources. Sometimes he'll copy from radar too; it depends on how lazy he's feeling. He never actually looks for information on his own, he just steals it from others. I guess he figures that if that cow Caca can do it and get away with it, he can too. I'm just waiting for him to set up a charity that he can also steal from, ala Caca.

What blows my mind, Perez is how disrespectful you are with the pics you post with your articles. You did it with Amy and you're doing it with Whitney. YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE!

Anyone who doesn't think drugs were involved is DELUSIONAL!! The woman was a crackhead through and through.

Re: NookiesWA – I'm going to ask Perez to delete you completely. You're nothing but a fucking loser and a troll.

sad to use SUCH an unflattering pic of someone who just died

Ugh, these drugs aren't meant to mixed with alcohol, yet time and time again, you hear of deaths associated with this - celebrities, and I've known people personally that have died due to mixing prescription drugs and alcohol. I know people become addicted to using…but why do people think it's never going to happen to them?

Drugs and alcohol? Who would have thought?

Re: NookiesWA – Either you are a sad little attention seeker, or you are just a nasty, foul, small minded racist bigot. Whichever it is, you should crawl back into your hole and keep your nasty mouth shut.

I see nothing wrong with Mario using the above picture. That's how she looked the last 20 years.

Whatever the cause of death, it's sad that a woman of such enormous talent, and at only 48, has lost her life. We all know she took drugs - but that doesn't mean she deserved such an awful fate. And we don't know what pressures and troubles in her life caused her to turn to drugs to try and cope. Have a little compassion - and remember, 'there but for fortune…'

Re: Pretty Boys Are ForeverRe: HumiliatedGrapeRe: Hawaii317Re: Gonetrippin – Statistics do not lie. Whenever I see a video of people acting like crap its always blacks. Even on this very site. The girls beating a waitress at red lobster? All black. A fight at mcdonalds where a guy beats a girl in the head, all black. Statistics do not lie. In all of the black dominant countries blacks have the highest illiteracy rate. Blacks make up 40% of the prison population but only make up around 12% of our population. Statistics do not lie. Black people are a waste of space. If you're part of that 1% of blacks that managed to make it, congrats..don't hate on me, hate on your people that make you look nothing more than primitive monkeys.
